She set up the tent went to find some woods. When she got back, she saw a shadow of someone.
"Hello? I can see your shadow you know"
"Alright you caught me!"
The man appeared Infront of Nathalie. He looked like a gentleman.
"Are you from the Army?"
"Why's that?"
"My dad's an Army officer, so I can recognise people from the Army quite easily"
"Pretty talented you are. Yes, I'm from the Army, I'm also an Army officer."
"Why are you here?"
"Have you heard of the roumors?"
"That of the theifs in this neighbourhood?"
"Quite right. I'm here to catch them. I got duty to keep a close eye on this place. I must say, I wasn't expecting a camping trip here!" The man chuckled
"I also wasn't expecting to see you Mr?-"
"Carter. I'm Caleb Carter"
"Nice to meet you Mr Carter"
"Appreciate that, is that your friend?"
Nathalie looked over to see Vexter approaching.
"Nat! Wait who's that?"
"Morning Vexter. He's from the Army, Army Officer, His duty is to keep a close eye on this place"
"Why's that?" Vexter asked, staring intensely at Carter
"Theifs" Nathalie answered
"Oh! The roumors are true then" He then said
"It is indeed" Carter added
"Cool, so how do we know you're speaking the truth?" Vexter asked, quite rudely
"Ask your friend, Nat?"
"My full name is actually Nathalie" Nathalie corrected
"Oh! Sorry!" Carter awkwardly said
"It's alright if you call me Nat, most of my friends do" Nathalie said with a smile
"Nathalie is a nice name. If you want I can show you guys my id-" Caleb said about to bring out his id
"It's alright Mr Carter, we believe you-" Nathalie said, kinda shocking Carter
"Really?" Vexter interrupted
"Hush you silly boy!" Nathalie said while slapping his back.
"Haha! Oh! I have to go now, stay safe kids. Oh and, my request, please don't share this news that there is an Army person here, or that you guys even met me. If the theifs hear about me, my duty will be over" Carter said in an urgent manner
"We won't, trust us" Nathalie approvingly said
"Of course I trust you guys, you guys have trusted me, why shouldn't I? Alright, I'll take my leave" Carter said
"Goodbye Mr Carter" Nathalie said with a wave
"Bye kids!"
The man left abruptly.
