The Camping Disaster

Chapter 3: An Excellent Idea!

"Wait I've an idea!" Vexter exclaimed
"Spit it out" Nathalie said with a curious look
"Why don't we all go camping? There's a camping area nearby and it's safe as well as fun!" Vexter said
"Excellent idea!" Nathalie exclaimed while looking at Vexter with a smile

Vexter smiled back and asked
"Everyone else agrees?"
"Don't we have to ask our parents first? We do live quite far from here" Scarlette asked
"It is a splendid Idea Indeed but I can't say I don't agree with Scar" Rachel added
"Same goes to me" Felix and Tiana said in unison
"Well alright, I've some money, wanna get ice cream? There's a store nearby" Nathalie said
Everyone nodded and proceed to go to the store.

While walking, Nathalie noticed a man in a hoodie following them. She wispered to Vexter,
"Pst Vex!"
"What's up Nat? Why are you whispering?"
"Look behind but don't be too obvious"
Vexter looked behind
"Can you see the man? Strange isn't it?"
"He's probably just going to the same store as us, don't overthink too much Nat"

The group had reached the store, Nathalie payed for everyone's ice creams and went back to the park. The man was gone too. Perhaps, Nathalie really was overthinking.

They gossiped about what was happening in school and slowly, Nathalie forgot about the man and focused on her friends instead.

"Nat have you ever gone camping before?" Scarlette asked
"Well yea, I have"
"Ooo! With whom? Vex?" Scarlette teasingly asked
"Of course not! I went to my hometown and camped with my relatives" Nathalie argued
"Well that's boring" Vexter added
"Why? Wish you were there?" Nathalie chuckled
"Probably" Vexter replied sarcastically
Nathalie blushed. This darn boy!

With another fit of laughter, the fun was coming to an end.
