Nathalie stood by the lake. The sun was rising. How beautiful it was!
Nathalie always loved dawns, but she rarely wakes up at the break of dawn.
Vexter came beside her and said
"So, how was the adventure?"
Nathalie didn't say anything. She smiled and looked at the birds flying above.
"I guess we aren't meant to be detectives after all" Nathalie chuckled
Just then, Nathalie's brother Sam, came up to the two. Sam was three years younger than Nathalie.
"Sis! Why didn't you call me? I also wanted some adventures! You get all the adventures! You and your friends! Why can't I have Adventures like this?"
Sam pouted and looked away.
"You will have...soon" Nathalie said with a smile. Then she looked at Vexter, he was giggling quietly.
Everyone's parents were there, Scarlette got the scolding of her life when her parents heard about the incident.
Nathalie's father thanked Carter.
Carter came up to the group and said,
"You guys have achieved something marvelous! Mr Miller, was actually a drug dealer and had a business of exporting drugs. We have been trying to catch him for a long time, now you guys have! As a reward, your names will be in the newspaper today!"
"Wow! Now that's exciting!" Scarlette exclaimed looking all starry eyed
So that's how our adventure ends.
Summer break is over. Nathalie entered the classroom to find everyone present.
She smiled. Something about that classroom had vibes from the last adventure.
She sat in her usual seat. Vexter and Felix were talking. Then Vexter caught Nathalie's eye. She giggled.
She wondered what it would be like If Vexter and she were detectives, they would surely make an excelleng team.
Maybe... they'll have another adventure...soon...
