The Camping Disaster

Chapter 5: Unfortunate Tradgedy

The next day, Early morning, Nathalie decided to visit the camping area. She had asked her mom the day before and her mom agreed. The best thing was, Vexter was coming too! The others unfortunately couldn't come.

Nathalie walked out of her house and decided to go to the park, where she would meet Vexter. This time, Vexter was earlier and already waiting there, sitting in a seat nearby. Nathalie walked towards him and he stood up.

"Who's the early one now?" Vexter proudly asked
"Hmph! You've planned this haven't you?"
Vexter didn't say anything, just grinned
"You know the location right?" Vexter then asked
"Yea, come on, follow me" Nathalie answered
Nathalie started walking with Vexter by her side.

The camping site wasn't that far, just two or three roads away. Vexter's house also wasn't that far, close to the 7th sector park.
Since they both lived in the same sector, they could meet up whenever they wanted.

"About the question I asked yesterday, did it made you uncomfortable?"

Nathalie didn't answer, she remembered the events of yesterday. The get-together, the strange man, the weird question of Vexter and so on...

"Oops, cat got your tongue?" Vexter sarcastically asked
"Nope, just wondering when you'll shut up"
"Let me think...Ne-ver"

They both burst into laughter. Nathalie didn't notice the truck Infront of her, just as she was about to cross the road-

"NAT!!! WATCH OUT!" Vexter screamed

Nathalie stared at the coming truck Infront of her, is this it? If this how her life ends? But she's too young, Will she never be able to see her friends again?
A miracle happend, Vexter pulled Nathalie and they both landed on the pavement.
Vexter's head had hit the pavement and he was now unconscious.

"VEXTER! VEXTER!" Nathalie screamed

People started surrounding them, some even called the ambulance. Not long after, the ambulance arrived and took Vexter away.
