Cameron Still
Well.
Today took a turn in an entirely different direction than I thought it would.
Whether it was for better or for worse I don't know.
It was like any other day- other than the fact I slept in but that doesn't matter. I quite literally spent the day in my room until 5 p.m. when I heard a knock at my door.
Louis stood on the other side of the door; his jeans were covered in dirt, and up to his the midway point of his calf they were soaked- like he walked into some body of water and walked out.
"Hey Cameron," Louis started. "Can you go out with the boys and I tonight?"
"I don't know; I don't feel like drinking tonight."
"You don't have to. Niall said he's not drinking either so you can talk to him."
I debate on saying no, but honestly I'd just be sitting in my hotel room all night with nothing to do. I go with a 'fuck it' mindset for the first time of many that evening.
"Happy days, we'll meet you at the front of the hotel in about an hour? It's this fancy kind of club we're going to, by the way."
"Why do I need to know that?"
"Don't really know- Harry's wearing a suit for a laugh though."
"Don't think I brought anything "fancy" but thanks for the heads up."
Louis nodded and smiled, which I returned before he walked away and I shut the door.
I dug through my suitcase for a bit and found a black silky dress which I didn't even know I owned nevermind packed, a pair of sheer tights tucked into the very corner of my suitcase as well. My guess is this was Harper's work because I wouldn't of consciously packed either of these items.
I quickly sent Harper a message reading "Did you pack a dress into my suitcase by any chance?" And left my phone charging on the bedside table.
I ended up wearing the dress and tights, because they'd never see the light of day if I didn't, but dressed them down with my Converse.
Not like I had a choice in footwear anyway, they were the only shoes I brought.
I only did minimal makeup for the night, running a brush through my hair and leaving it in thick waves.
The dress kept riding up my thigh so I'd have to occasionally pull it back down- but it only hit mid-thigh.
I took my phone off the charger, leaving it at 87% and made sure both my room key and bank card were in the phone case. Harper had messaged me back while I was getting ready, so while I waited for the elevator -which took a good few minutes- I replied.
Harper: Maybe I did.
Cameron: Is it one of your dresses? I've never seen it in my life.
I had to pull said dress down again as I pressed send.
Harper: Wait are you wearing it?
Cameron: Yeah why?
Harper: Where are you going?
Cameron: A club
Harper: Don't you have to be 21 to get into a club?
Cameron: Yep
Harper: But you're 18
