4th of July, 2015

It feels as if we've only been on tour for a week.

When in reality, it's been a month.

We're currently on the bus to Aberdeen, South Dakota, then going straight to Jamestown, North Dakota as soon as their concert ends.

The boys have treated me like a friend they've known their whole life, other than Niall who rarely talks to me.

Over the past month numerous things have happened. For example, Liam and Harry dragged everyone -Caroline, Zach, Connor, Micah, myself, Niall and Louis- out to Santa Monica Beach right after their show in Los Angeles finished.

It was far past 2 a.m. by the time we returned to our hotel, Caroline being the only person out of all of us who wasn't completely wasted.

Kathy was suspicious as to why she couldn't find anyone the next morning, but that was because nearly everyone has ended up knocked out of Louis' hotel room floor.

There was also this time that Harry tried to find a donkey in Dallas and ride it like a horse. He ended up finding one but fell of within ten seconds, as said by Louis.

It was really never a dull moment with them.

Now I'm sitting on the couch again, switching between scrolling on my phone and watching whatever the boys had decided to put on the TV.

Niall eventually saying "Louis, if you don't stop speaking fucking French to me, I'll rip your tongue out." Caught my attention, making me look at him with concern.

"But French is the language of diplomacy." Louis argued, Niall pinching his nose between his finger and thumb. "And what the fuck does that mean?"

"It means French is the art of dealing with people in a sensitive and tactful way," Louis explained, only making Niall and Liam look at him confused. "What?"

"Not even five minutes ago you were going off about how we shouldn't cut down trees to make bird houses-"

"Which is a fair point because trees are already bird houses." Louis cut off Liam.

"And now all of a sudden you're acting like a walking encyclopedia." Liam finished.

"And what's all this 'sensitive' shit you're on about?" Niall asked.

"Well, first of all Liam I've always been smart," Louis began before Harry chortled from beside him.

Louis glared at him before continuing.

"And Niall every time your dad is brought up you get all defensive."

"That's because he can't be mentioned without you making a joke."

I observed the conversation from the end of the couch with my feet up on the coffee table, a distinct amount of space between me and the boys.

"Is it because you have no one to bond over it with?" Louis asked, Niall looking at him like the annoying child you don't know at family gatherings.

"That's not something people 'bond' over Louis-" Niall tried to say before Louis interrupted him.

"Cameron!" Louis pointed at me while Liam was trying not to laugh from beside him. "Beth was saying your dad left too." He said, jumping up like a child on Christmas as I nod.

Louis took Niall by the arm, dragging him to the empty spot next to me and basically throwing Niall down while he protested saying "Fuck off Louis" and "I'm pretty sure this is classed as bullying."
