"You can turn your back on a person, but never turn your back on a drug, especially when it's waving a razor sharp hunting knife in your eye"

Cameron Still

Kathy asked me to take the boys to their interview today.

Not someone who is actually on the team like my mother, Micah or Connor. No. She got the girl who is literally younger person here.

She said it was at ten and the place is a 30 minute drive away. Oh, and Caroline and Zach have to come with us. I really don't understand why I have to go if there's already two bodyguards going to keep them in line.

But here we are.

It's 09:15, and none of the boys are in their hotel rooms.

I got a text earlier on from Niall saying "505" and I thought that's the room they were all in, but it turns out it was just his room number for this hotel.

I get another message from him as I impatiently tap my foot against the concrete, saying, "we'll be at the hotel in 5".

So, he's sent me his room number again.

Where the fuck are they though?

I lock my phone as I wait outside the hotel, Caroline and Zach joining me.

"Where's the boys?" Zach sighed, clearly used to this.

"Not a clue. I didn't even know they left the hotel this morning." I shrug as I watch black and white cars pass by, the occasional red or blue.

"I saw them leave the hotel this morning like they were late for something. Around half eight I think." Caroline pitched in as a jet black car stopped infront of us, the driver's seat window rolling down and revealing Harry, who had a large grin on his face and sunglasses.
"Get in the car!" Harry hit the horn a couple times as Zach walked up to the door and opened it.
"You're not driving."

Harry took the sunglasses off and rested them on the top of his head, rolling his eyes, obviously expecting Zach to say that as he hopped out and the rest of the boys followed.

"There isn't enough room to fit all of us in here," Caroline pointed out as her and Zach got into the front seats, Zach driving.

Great!

I'll stay back at the hotel.

"Okay? We've made it work before," Louis looked at the boys and I then pointed at me. "Cameron, you sit on Niall's lap." He chose completely at random, as Niall slyly grinned at me.

In that moment everyone else had already made their way into the car. Louis rolled the window down slightly and knocked on it, telling us to hurry up.

Once we were both in the car I looked to my right, Harry was in the middle with Liam next to the door while Louis was leaning against it, stretching his legs out so they were resting on Harry's lap. Caroline looked back at Louis and shook her head, which seemed to set him off.
"It's been a long morning and I'm exhausted!"

"Long morning? What were you doing at half eight this morning?" Caroline snapped back.

They boys looked at eachother, their eyes slightly wide.
"Stuff." Louis replied, much quieter than he was before.

Caroline rolled her eyes. "What stuf-"

"Just drive or we'll be late." I interrupted, checking my phone and seeing the time was 09:25.
