a white ball of fire
burning deep inside me,
rage spreading like wildfire,
consuming every inch of my being.
it makes it hard to breathe,
a suffocating heat,
urges beyond my control,
anger i can't contain.
i'm tired,
so tired,
but the fear of death
keeps me clinging to life,
terrified to take that final step.
the fire rages on,
a constant, searing pain,
a battle i fight every day,
with no end in sight.
yet here i stand,
scared, burning, and tired,
but alive,
holding on to the thin thread of existence,
hoping for a day when the fire will die down,
and peace will find me at last.
