HOW TO BE LOVED

24 - Bring them on!

Freen's POV

"It's wrong because... you're in love with someone else... in love with me, while you're in a relationship!" Becky shouted, her voice echoing in the room.

I was stunned, my mind racing. Me? In a relationship? With whom? This girl is not in her right mind. What is she thinking?

I let out a loud, incredulous chuckle. "Oh my! Becbec!"

"What? What is so funny, Freen?" Becky exclaimed, slumping back onto the couch, looking defeated.

I sat back calmly, pulling her to sit straight and look at me. I held her hand, caressing the top of it gently.

"Please, Freen, d-don't cheat," she said, her voice trembling, almost begging.

"Why? Do you take me for a cheater?" I asked, searching her eyes.

"No!" she said with confidence.

"Good, because I'm not," I said, smiling softly.

She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "W-what do you—"

I silenced her with a tender kiss, drawing her gently into my embrace. The surprise in her eyes made my heart flutter, and as our lips touched, she remained still, her initial shock palpable. I couldn't help but smile softly against her lips, savoring the sweetness of the moment. Wanting to awaken her senses, I teasingly bit her lower lip, eliciting a delicate gasp from her.

Seizing this moment of vulnerability, I deepened the kiss, our lips melding together in a dance of passion. My hands found their way into her hair, caressing each strand with a loving, deliberate touch. The silky texture of her hair intertwined with my fingers, and the warmth of her body pressed against mine created an electric connection that sent waves of bliss through me.

Slowly, she began to respond, her hesitation dissolving as she surrendered to the kiss. Her lips moved against mine with a newfound fervor, mirroring the intensity of my own emotions. The world around us faded, leaving only the two of us, lost in a moment of pure, unspoken love.

We broke apart, breathless, our foreheads touching. In the quiet aftermath, I could feel the rapid beat of her heart matching my own. Her eyes, now softened with affection, gazed into mine.

"I'm not in a relationship, Becbec," I whispered, panting.

She pulled back, pushing my shoulder away. "Now you're lying," she said, shaking her head in disbelief. "Please don't make me a cheater, or a tool to be one, because I am not."

"Good to know that you're not a cheater too," I said, smirking as I bit my lower lip. "And I'm not lying. I'm not in a relationship."

"You cannot claim that you broke up with Nam when you just shared a very loving embrace after you walked the runway," she scoffed, her expression one of disbelief.

Realizing what she meant, I burst into laughter.

Nam. Oh my god. So this girl thinks I'm in a relationship with Nam, my cousin. And she thinks it's wrong for me to love her because she doesn't want me to be a cheater. This blonde, gorgeous, and hot-as-hell girl is so adorable.

"Freeeeeen!" she exclaimed in frustration. "What are you laughing at?"

"Huh! Okay, I'll stop laughing," I said, trying to contain myself. I grabbed her hands once more. "Listen to me, Becky. I am not in a relationship with Nam."

"You're not?" she said, dumbfounded.

"We're not. She is my—"

"Best friend!" she interjected. "I know you introduced her as such the first time we met, but you cannot deny that you're more than that, Freen. She calls you her bunny, she kisses you, she's protective and so caring of you."
