Freen's POV

"So what happened? Something good?" Nam whispered to me as I sipped some champagne with her. We were standing at the edge of the room, away from the main bustle of the event. My gaze was fixed on Becky, who was deeply engaged in conversation with the head of Dior management. Becky's charisma was on full display; she had a natural way of captivating people, and I could tell she was making a strong impression.

Becky's elegance and charm were effortless, and it was clear that she was commanding the attention of her audience. The head of Dior management was leaning in, clearly intrigued and impressed by whatever Becky was sharing. Watching her in action was mesmerizing, and I couldn't help but feel a swell of admiration.

Nam's question snapped me back to the present. I turned to her, noticing the curious sparkle in her eyes. She had a knack for picking up on subtle cues and seemed genuinely interested in what had caught my attention. I gave her a small smile and a nod, indicating that, yes, something good was indeed happening.

I turned to Nam, a small smile playing on my lips. "You could say that," I replied softly. "We had a heart-to-heart, and I think we made some progress."

Nam raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Progress, huh? Is she your girlfriend now?"

Feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, I shook my head. "Nope... Not yet. But I will give my best, Nam."

As I said this, I touched my lips, remembering the sensation of kissing Becky earlier. The memory sent a thrill through me, and I couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions. As if she sensed my gaze, Becky looked in my direction, and our eyes met. She saw me touching my lips, and I guessed she understood what was on my mind because she blushed like a tomato.

The shared moment was electric, a silent acknowledgment of the connection we both felt. The room around us seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of us locked in a meaningful gaze. Becky's blush deepened, adding to her charm, and I felt a surge of determination. No matter what, I was going to give my best, for both of us.

Nam's gaze followed mine to Becky. "She's incredible," Nam remarked, her tone admiring. "It's no wonder you're so smitten."

"She is," I agreed, my voice filled with genuine affection. "And I'm determined to show her that she deserves all the love and happiness in the world."

Nam smiled warmly at my words. "That's the spirit. Just be yourself, and I'm sure everything will fall into place."

I couldn't help but smile. "I hope so. She's gonna be worth every effort."

Nam nudged me gently. "You know, you're lucky to have found someone who makes you feel this way."

I nodded, my eyes never leaving Becky. "I know. And I'm not going to let this chance slip away."
