Oscar and Maja, Maja and Oscar. They were everyone's favorite 'it' couple since they debuted on in the paddock together for the first time, two peas in a pod. The two sweethearts had been dating for over two years now and everyone was obsessed with them. Meeting by chance through Lando of all people, it was like everything fell into place for the pair after getting to know each other better.

Maja was one of the few girlfriends of a driver who always made time for his fans. She always pushed her boyfriend to spend extra time signing merch and taking photos. She'd always collect bracelets for Oscar from the fans or anything they hand made for him. The media loved her as well. They dubbed her as 'F1's #1 Sweetheart' because she never refused a quick moment to chat with the reporters and the influencers who were vlogging for their channels.

During most of his interviews when his girlfriend was present in the paddock, the reporters loved to focus primarily on their relationship. He was proud to show her off and it was his favorite hobby to talk about her. Fans also had a keen eye to notice that whenever he was on the podium, his girlfriend was there for the race weekend.

Maja had joined Oscar for more than half of the races in the 2023 season. Oscar loved when she was in the paddock because she brought joy and sunshine wherever she went. She was full of positivity, always encouraging him to do his best and giving him the best pep talks when he didn't do as well.

Eagle eye fans started noticed Oscar and Maja had not posted anything together on social media since before the winter break, in fact Maja hadn't posted anything at all. Multiple signs had led fans and reporters alike to believe that the couple had called it quits following the end of last season, Abu Dhabi being the last time they were spotted in public together. 

"Oscar, we haven't seen your girlfriend in the paddock this entire season. Fans are starting to speculate that you two are no longer together? Care to comment?"

"Oscar where's Maja? Did you guys breakup over the winter break?"

"Oscar! Oscar! Over here!"

"Oscar, Maja has radio silent on social media, what's going on? Is it splitsville for our favorite F1 couple?"  

Oscar tried to ignore all the paparazzi harassing him as he tried to enter into the paddock. It was Imola weekend and he was walking in alone. Fans and paparazzi were asking him a million questions since they hadn't spotted him and his girlfriend together at all this season. This was the 5th race she hadn't accompanied him to and things were starting to look weird. 

As he was turning to corner to head to McLaren, he spotted a young fan dressed head to toe in his merch, out of the corner of his eye. The little boy was waving to him, hoping to grab his attention. Oscar walked up to him, kneeling in front of him with a wide tooth grin. 

"Well, well well, what do we have here? Are you my biggest fan, little one?"

The little boy couldn't have been older than five, looked at Oscar and nodded his head. He had a handmade card in his hand of what looked like two people holding hands.

"What's this?"

"It's um..it's you and Maja. You are my favorite driver and she is really really pretty. Do you love her? My daddy loves my mommy" the little boy said, making Oscars heart swell with emotions. He looked up to see the young boys parents blushing at what their son had said.
