Done in Oscar POV
-----------------------------------

After a long day of flying back from Abu Dhabi, all I wanted was to get back to my apartment and relax. I was just starting to get used to Monaco. The quiet moments here felt rare, but I was excited for spend the winter break here, keeping a low profile. No one had lived in the apartment across from mine, so it had been blissfully quiet...just the way I liked it.

As I walked down the hall, I noticed something different. Boxes. Stacks of them lined up against the wall, spilling out of the door to what I thought was the empty apartment. I paused for a second, raising an eyebrow. Looks like someone finally bought the place.

I hadn't seen anyone move in yet, but this was clearly a sign. I wasn't one to get involved with my neighbors, I liked my privacy, but still, I couldn't help but wonder who'd moved in. Shrugging it off, I made my way to my door and pulled out my keys, slipping one into the lock. Just as I was about to turn it, a voice called out from behind me.

"Hi there!"

I froze for a second, then slowly turned around, not sure what to expect. When I did, I saw her. A beautiful girl with a huge smile standing in front of the open door to the new apartment. She was holding a box, dressed in workout clothes, her dark hair tied back in a loose ponytail. My brain took a moment to catch up. It was one of those moments where everything around you feels like it stops for a second.

"Hi," I managed, trying not to sound too awkward as I took in the sight of her.

She shifted the box in her arms and smiled again, stepping closer. "I'm Adriana, your new neighbor. I just relocated from Italy for work."

She had an accent, soft and friendly, and it matched her warm demeanor. I nodded, feeling my curiosity spike again. Italy? That wasn't too far from here, but what type of work made her come to Monaco? I realized I was standing there like a bit of an idiot and quickly shook myself out of it.

"Nice to meet you, Adriana. I'm Oscar." I smiled back, trying to sound more casual than I felt.

"Are you from here?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, as if she were genuinely curious.

"Not exactly. I've been here for a bit, though," I replied, sidestepping the whole I'm a Formula 1 driver thing for now. I was attempting to maintain that low profile, especially now that it was the winter break.

She nodded, eyes sparkling. "Well, it's a beautiful place to live. I'm still getting used to it, though. Moving's always a bit of an adventure."

I glanced at the stack of boxes by her door. "Looks like you've got a lot to unpack."

"Yeah," she sighed with a laugh. "I might need a week...or a month."

I laughed, feeling more at ease. "If you need any help, feel free to ask. I'm not the best at moving, but I can manage a few boxes."

She raised an eyebrow, amused. "I might take you up on that offer, Oscar."

There was something about the way she said my name...easy and familiar, that made me want to stick around and talk to her a bit longer. But I reminded myself I was supposed to be sleeping, I probably looked a little disheveled after my long day.

"Well, I'd better let you get back to it," I said, gesturing toward the boxes with a small smile. "Welcome to the building, Adriana."

"Thanks, Oscar," she replied, her smile softening. "I'll see you around?"
