Silverstone always had a special place in my heart. There's something about being here, on home soil, at the historic track. Today, though, it's a different kind of energy, media day. The paddock is buzzing with journalists, photographers, and fans trying to catch a glimpse of their favorite drivers. But for me, it's just another day at the office...well, the garage, technically.

I adjusted my headset, scanning through the data on the screen in front of me. Working with Danny's engineering team was a dream come true, even more so because I'd earned my place here. Graduating top of my class in engineering wasn't easy, but it was worth every sleepless night, every grueling exam. And now, here I was, at Red Bull Racing, working alongside some of the brightest minds in motorsport and with my dad.

"Amelia, how's it looking?" one of the engineers, Tom, asked as he passed by, checking in on our progress.

"Solid," I replied, keeping my eyes on the data. "We're making good gains on the aero package. Danny should feel the difference out there."

Tom nodded, satisfied. "Good work. Keep me posted if anything jumps out at you."

"Will do," I said, giving him a thumbs-up before diving back into the numbers.

I'd always been analytical, even as a kid. My dad, used to joke that I was born with a wrench in one hand and a calculator in the other. Growing up around the paddock, I learned to speak the language of engineers and mechanics before I could even ride a bike. It was no surprise to anyone when I decided to pursue engineering. What did surprise some people, though, was how determined I was to make it on my own merits. I didn't want to just be known as Christian Horner's daughter, I wanted to be known as Amelia, the engineer who helped win races.

"AMELIIIIIIIIIAAAAAA HORRRRRNERRRRR!! My favorite engineer!" Danny yelled, making a grand entrance as always.

"Danny, I'm your only engineer," I said with a smirk, not looking up from the data.

"Details, details," he said, waving his hand dismissively. "So, what magic are you cooking up for me today?"

I laughed, finally looking up. "Magic? You're just going to have to wait and see. But trust me, you'll love it."

"I always do, but I need your help with something" he said, flashing that trademark smirk. I was Checo's engineer up until his retirement last year, when Danny was brought back to the team. It added a layer of fun to my job getting to work with one of my favorite person.

"What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" Danny said, taking me out if my thoughts.

"So you admit I'm pretty?"

"Okay let me rephrase that... what's going on in that GIGANTIC head of yours?"

"Asshole."

"Yeah but I'm your asshole."

I raised an eyebrow. "Okay so what do you need exactly?"

"Uh..uh...tire pressure! Yeah I have a question about tire pressure," he stammered, clearly making it up. Before I could respond, we both turned to the sound of Carlos yelling and Charles running towards us with a worried look on his face. "Help me!!!"

"Charles what did you do?" I ask him as he hides himself behind me and Danny's body.

"Um nothing...."
