Chapter 12: An Evening of Revelations

Francesca's P.O.V.

Later that evening, my phone buzzed with a call from Xander.

"Francesca, I'm taking you out to celebrate the closing of the deal. Be ready by 7 PM."

"Xander, you don't have to—"

"I insist. Also, I've ordered a dress for you. It should be arriving soon."

"How do you even know my size?" I asked, curiosity piqued. "I'm slightly over a medium."

"I have my ways," he replied, his voice teasing. "See you soon."

True to his word, a stunning dress arrived at my hotel room. It fit perfectly, accentuating my curves in all the right places. When Xander picked me up, his eyes lit up.

"You look beautiful," he said, his voice husky.

"Thank you," I replied, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks.

As we drove to the restaurant, the compartment window went up, offering us privacy. Xander leaned in and kissed me, his hands slipping under my dress. I found myself on his lap, feeling his arousal as I pressed against him. The intensity of the moment made my heart race.

We quickly composed ourselves as we arrived at the restaurant. The hostess led us to a private room, but not before blatantly flirting with Xander.

"What wine would you like?" she asked, batting her eyelashes.

I wrapped my arm around Xander's and replied firmly, "We'll have the 2015 Chateau Margaux, thank you." I dismissed her with a smile.

Xander chuckled. "Feeling possessive, are we?"

"I'm not possessive," I denied, though my heart betrayed me.

"You can be," he said passionately. "You belong to me."

I didn't deny it.

Dinner was exquisite, and by dessert, the atmosphere had grown intimate. Xander's eyes locked onto mine. "Take off your panties," he whispered.

"What?" I asked, shocked.

"Do it," he insisted.

Despite my reservations, I slipped out of my panties discreetly, handing them to him under the table. Just then, my phone buzzed. It was Violet.

"Francesca, have you seen what's going on on social media?" she asked urgently.

"No, what's wrong?"

"There are negative comments about you being a gold digger. People have figured out who you are."

My heart sank. Just then, Xander's phone rang. He answered it with a stern voice, giving orders. I glanced at my phone and saw the headline: BILLIONAIRE SPOTTED WITH THE MYSTERIOUS BLOGGER Omegabae.

My blood ran cold. "They know who I am," I whispered, feeling exposed.

Xander took my phone and spoke to Violet. "She's fine, Violet. We're leaving now." He turned to me, his expression serious. "We need to go."

As we exited the restaurant, paparazzi swarmed us, cameras flashing and questions flying. Xander's grip on my hand was firm and reassuring. "Everything will be fine," he whispered.

He called for the driver, and we quickly got into the car. As we drove away, I felt a mix of fear and relief. The world now knew who I was, and the backlash was brutal. But Xander was by my side, and that gave me the strength to face whatever came next.

Back in the safety of our hotel, Xander held me close. "We'll handle this together," he said softly. "You're not alone."

I nodded, finding comfort in his words and his presence. The night had been a whirlwind of emotions, but one thing was clear—Xander and I were in this together, no matter what.
