Ding...Ding...Ding...DING...DING

Francesca's P.O.V.

"Uggghh!!! Stupid alarm," I muttered. Waking up to the annoying beeping sound of my damned alarm was one of the worst things. I
threw the alarm on the floor, but it was still ringing, so I ignored the sound and fell back asleep.

Fifteen minutes later, Violet dragged me out of bed. "Holy shit! Please, Vee, five more minutes."

"Noooo, you better get that ass out of bed and freshen up," Vee yelled.

I was half asleep when I stumbled into the bathroom and turned the shower on. The cold water made me jump and shout, "What the hell?" I quickly turned it to warm.

After bathing, I put on a nude top and white jeans, adding light makeup. I picked up my bag and headed to the kitchen. Our three-bedroom apartment was cozy, and Violet and I shared the expenses evenly. Violet worked at Williams Corp, and I worked at a cafe.

"Can you believe what Mr. Williams Xander did again?" I said in disbelief. "He bought Maxwell Industries just to teach the poor old man a lesson."

"Can you just leave him alone? You've been attacking him a lot lately. You know who he is, right?" Violet said worriedly.

"Someone needs to put him in his place, to stand up to him, to criticize his bad actions," I replied firmly.

"So that person is you? Are you asking for a death wish?" Violet burst out.

"Maybe, maybe not, but someone needs to do it," I said. No one knows I'm Omegabae, the mysterious blogger. The only person who knows is my best friend Violet, and I want it to stay that way. I can't be found by anyone from my past, and I don't like the spotlight, so I avoid it as much as possible.

"Just stop writing about Xander Williams, please. I heard he's dangerous," Violet pleaded.

"I know, Vee. I'll try not to write about him all the time, and thanks for the concern. That's why I love you," I said.

"Aww! Bring in the hug. Oh shit...I'm going to be late. Mr. Williams will definitely have my head," Vee said.

"If he does anything, let me know, Vee, so I have a greater reason to kill him," I joked.

"I know you will, Frankie. That's why I love you," she said.

"Love you too, Vee. Bye!"
