OMNISCIENT -

Rushing through the doors of his dad's nursing home, a panicked look was on his face. Normally he would stop and talk to the receptionist but he stormed past her and rushed to his dad's room. Before opening the door, he took deep breaths, not knowing what he would see. Slowly he twisted the knob and pushed it open, expecting to see his dad with a bullet hole in his head, but instead his dad sat there still watching tv.

"Dad."

Lou looked over at his son and grinned. "Marco, so many visitors today."

"Where she at? What happened? I swear ima kill that bitch."

"Why?"

"You fucking know why! She put a gun to your head, she was about to kill you."

Lou laughed. "She never put a gun to my head, did you see a gun to my head?"

"Then why the fuck was she here?! Drea thinks this shit is a game and I swear ima show her ass." Marco started pacing.

"Why are you angry? You're the one who put yourself in this situation. You should've told her everything Marco then you could've teamed up and took her brother out together. But nope, that's too much like right. Now you're on the other side, you're an enemy to her. I'm not sure why you even felt like you had to withhold that. Now it looks like you're plotting against her still because you didn't say shit."

Exhaling, Marco sat on his dad's bed. "I told her that I love her."

Shocked, Lou's eyebrows raised. "Did you mean it?"

"Yes, I meant it. I love Andrea, and I wasn't trying to hurt her. I hate that we're back in this position after getting out of it. And honestly I don't see us bouncing back again. How could she trust me after this?"

"She cant...and you can't expect her to."

"Tell me what to do pops. I need Drea, I'm not myself when I don't have her."

"Look Marc, I really wish yall would've got it right and honestly you could've when yall told each other the truth. You dug yourself into a deeper hole and now everything is just a big mess. You may not want to but you're going to have to move on."

Marco shook his head. "This isn't right."

"Your fault, son."

The room grew quiet. Marco stared at the floor and his dad stared at him. He could see the pain all over his face.

"Help her Marco." Lou said.

"She's not going to want my help."

"You don't know that. Help her get her brother and then see what happens from there. Make sure she knows that you're genuine and that every feeling you have is real."

Marco nodded. "Okay."

〽️〽️〽️

Drea sat in the front seat of her car, looking at pictures and videos from her birthday trip. The videos of her and Marco were on replay. She loved how big her smile was, how happy she was. It was all good, about a week ago.

Knocking on her window, made her lock her phone and quickly look up. Seeing Marco standing there she rolled her eyes.

"Come on man, let me just talk to you." He yelled through the window.

Exhaling, she cut off the car and climbed out. "What?"

"I'm sorry Andrea. I wasn't trying to hurt you, I'm not doing anything slick. Those pictures you saw were old those texts were old. Me being at Kamp wasn't a coincidence, your brother came to my shop and basically served you up on a silver platter. He wanted you dead because of what happened to your dad but now after thinking, it might've been before that. The only reason I found you at all was because someone sent me the surveillance tapes. Then the day I killed your dad I got a text saying where you'd be. It was Trevor all this time. I don't know what his motive was back then. I should've told you all of this before and I know how badly it makes me look that I didn't. But you gotta know how I feel about you is real baby."
