Short, sweet , and to the point.

Also, I don't plan on making this book that long. 35 chapters, maybe less.

MARCO -

Drea and I sat in my bathroom, her up on the sink and me in front of her cleaning the gash on her forehead. She had bruises on her face but this was the worst part. We both have been sitting here, no words said. I didn't even know what to say without going off on her. She shouldn't have been there, Drea could've bought another pair of shoes, I could've bought another pair. It's like she was testing her luck or something.

"He's mad at me because of you." She finally said.

I didn't respond, just finished what I was doing. Once I placed the band-aid on her, I cleaned up my mess and tossed it out then went into my room and sat on the couch. Exhaling, I ran my hands over. I knew where this conversation needed to go and I knew what it would cause.

"Did you hear what I said?" Drea said while walking into the room after washing the blood from her face.

"Yeah."

"I wanna be real with you, I want us to have a clean slate Marco so I have to tell you everything."

"Listen—."

"No you listen, my brother is upset because I wouldn't kill you. Me being at your tattoo shop wasn't a coincidence, and an instagram post didn't bring me there. Someone put a bounty out on you, for 70 million dollars, I was supposed to torture you and kill you but from the minute I met you, I felt something and I tried hard to shake it. I tried so fucking hard to focus but you— you made that hard for me. Today, I told him that I couldn't do it. I couldn't kill you and it made him manic. I chose you and my brother decided to beat my ass for it and it doesn't make any sense to me because I've backed off missions before and he's never done this or acted like this. I don't get it."

Looking up at her, I sunk down in my seat. I wanted to lie. I wanted to pretend that I was surprised but I couldn't. "I know."

Her eyebrows furrowed. "Huh?"

"I know Andrea. I know everything."

"Everything?"

"Yeah, like you shooting my dad."

Her eyes grew and she stumbled back a little bit.

"I created that bounty once I found out everything." I continued. "You weren't supposed to make it out of that tattoo shop. I don't know what you do because I wanted you to hire you. You were brought to me so that I could take my gun and put it to your forehead and pull the trigger."

Tears rolled down her face. "We were hired to do that job. I didn't want to kill him, I promise I didn't but I fucking had to."

"I didn't see it that way at first, all I cared about was the person that pulled the trigger. I needed revenge, so I got it."
