MARCO - two weekslater
"Mama!" I yelled as I walked through her front door. I haven't seen my old lady in a minute so I had to stop by and just my luck, she's cooking.
Anthony and our sister Tiara followed behind me into the kitchen. Despite these two bastards being created while my dad was with my mom, she developed a bond with them. She's close with all her siblings, so it was important to her that I was the best big brother in the world.
"Mama Trish, what you cooking girl?" Anthony said while giving her a hug,
Trisha Alexander, the light oh my life, my home girl. I'm a true mamas boy.
"Oxtails and rice." She said while hugging him back.
"Move nigga, this my mama. I hug her first." I pulled him away while wrapping my arms around my girl. "Hi mommy."
"Hi my big baby." She rubbed my back. "You been alright?"
"Yes mama."
"Hey ma." Tiara came and hugged her.
"Hey sweetheart, food will be ready in a second. Have a seat."
I sat at the island and they sat at the table.
"What's been going on? Y'all all been MIA on me. Tiara you still at the hospital?" Mama asked.
"Yes, I got transferred to the ER recently. It gets crazy but I enjoy it."
"That's good, I'm proud of you."
"What about me mama? You proud of me?" I smiled.
"Of course baby, always."
"He don't even do nothing, just scribble on people skin." Anthony said.
"You mad cause yo mama ain't proud of you, white boy?"
Anthony's mama is a Caucasian but the ones that got that haircut, you know what haircut I'm talking about. She grew up in the hood, that's how my daddy ran across her.
"My mama love me nigga."
"I'm not even sure if you should even say nigga. Every time I hear you say it, I hear the hard -er."
"Aye mama Trish, did Marco tell you about his girlfriend?"
"Girlfriend?" My mama asked. "You finally tied down that chicken head."
"Oh no this a new chicken head." Anthony instigated.
"You got a girlfriend Marc?" Tiara asked. Ima kill this nigga.
"No, I don't."
"He lying, my sis in law cool as hell. You gotta come out with us Ti, I think you'll like her." Anthony said.
"Don't listen to this man. I'm single."
"She followed me on Instagram, you wanna see her Tiara?"
