I've been so busy 😮‍💨 hopefully that's over soon.

〽️

The sound of a phone ringing that didn't belong to Underwood filled his car.

Eyebrows furrowed, he quickly looked over his shoulder at the backseat as the phone continued to ring. He thought that the drugs in his system were causing him to hallucinate. He's been off the rails once he realized everything he set up to help take down Marco was failing. Underwood was now all alone and was ready to do whatever it would take to get rid of Marco.

The ringing started again but from a different part of the car. Quickly pulling over and parking, Underwood started reaching around, searching for where the noise was coming from. Finally his hand hit a phone deep under his seat. Bringing it up, he flipped the phone open and put it to his ear. "Who the hell is this?"

"It's Alexander."

The similar tone of Kyle's and Marco's voice made it hard to tell exactly which Alexander he was speaking to.

"Kyle?"

"Yup and I got a proposition for you."

"Im listening."

"I need my job back. I'm scraping money together to get by. I need back on the force so that I can get back on my feet. Can you help me?"

A smirk peeled across Underwood's face. "They always come crawling back. Your brother being stingy with his drug money huh?"

"He thinks I had something to do with his house being raided by you so he's not speaking to me. So like I said, I got a proposition for you."

"Okay."

"I'll serve my brother up to you on a silver platter. Give me a time and a place. I'll have him there."

"Hm.....give me an hour. This better not be a set up."

"It's not. You can trust me."

"Alright, this a good number to call back?"

"Yup."

"Perfect." That was the last thing Underwood got to say before the call the ended.

Kyle sat the burner phone down on his couch, then looked over at his brothers, sister in law, her friend and brother. "Got him. He said give him an hour for a location."

"You trust that?" Mj asked Marco.

"Nope, but that cellphone we put in his car got a tracker on it. We'll know his every move." Marco responded. "We got an hour to get everybody rounded up. I want everybody that can pull up, to do that."

His brothers nodded. Marco grabbed Drea's and headed out. There was still tension between the two after their moment a week ago. They barely spoke and the depression was at an all time high. Drea was grieving now more than ever and the fact that Maddison was off basically in hiding made her feel worse. Marco was angry still about everything and his PTSD was getting worse by the minute.

Nearing a red light, Marco looked over at his fiance, who kept her focus out the window. Exhaling, he slouched down his seat and his hands gripped the steering wheel. Impatiently, he waited for the light to change again. Once it did, he proceeded through and just as they crossed the intersection, all you heard was a loud crash then the car was spinning.

Drea held onto her head, as she cried out in pain. Marcos door flew open and a fist collided with his cheek. Underwood snatched Marco's seat belt off and roughly pulled him out the car. "You really thought that I would fall for that bullshit with your brother?"
