''All that mattered in the end was her warm sister, S/n.

She was her sunshine, being always animated.''

It took them about five hours to get Y/n settled, after that, the young CEO asked Miranda to take Laura to her house where her own, precious daughter was waiting for her. Y/n gave Laura a good amount of money and told her to get two weeks vacation.

The secret mother and servant had let out a few tears of pure happiness when she had heard the word escape Y/n's mouth. Her daughter was to stay hidden at all times, she didn't want to risk being recognized and Y/n knew that very well. Laura couldn't see her daughter much, because of her past and her links to a couple of dangerous people.

When the servant and bodyguard had left, Mokuba took Y/n's hand in his and directed her to the kitchen to eat dinner. Having skipped lunch with all the work they did in Y/n's new room, the young boy was famished and couldn't stop himself from wishing to get some food in his system.

They arrived at where Seto was sitting, but they both didn't mind him as they were engrossed in a conversation about their siblings' relationship. Mokuba was happily discussing his outings with Seto to Y/n, going to restaurants, arcades sometimes and once, an attraction park when he was very young.

The young black haired teenager was taking a place at the table near his brother when Y/n's voice turned sad as she talked about S/n's favorite activities. The pain in her chest had made her painfully aware of the hole that was missing. Of the worry that had only been growing. She had to get her sister back, no matter the prices or consequences.

''To be honest with you, I believe it is a good idea for me to move in with you right now. I barely support the manor and now without S/n gone, I don't think I would be able to stay sane there, especially all alone on my own.''

Seto raised his head up, eyes moving toward the white ceiling, eyes narrowed as his mind worked to solve a problem that seemed to be a danger to the project. He had been so deep into his work that the entire conversation slipped and he didn't catch any of the words the young lady had just said.

The moment he met Y/n's eyes. He saw anger, sadness, fear mixed in them and forgot about what he was working on as he heard his brother's answer, trying to figure out what they had been talking about to make Y/n show fear. That woman, while she was always an open book, had never shown her dread or fright.

''Can I ask you why you don't seem to like your own manor?''

Both boys, Seto having now gasped the main subject of the conversation, turn their attention to Y/n, both intrigued in what she was about to say. The girl looked at them, the urge to ignore or distract them from the question was tempting. But she knew she had to get at least a little bit open with them so that they would still help her find S/n.

''My father. He was, almost, always angry when he came home.''

Seto's eyes moved back to his laptop as soon as he saw the girl in front of him look down with sadness and pain in her e/c pools. It didn't take him long to understand the hidden meaning behind her words and noticed Mokuba also did when he expression turned dark, an instant later.

He didn't know if he should feel sympathy for her. The girl might have a talent for getting him annoyed and there might be something off about her that made Seto dislike her. But a small part of him, seeing his brother so happy with her, smiling, talking and playing, acting like a guy his age, made him think about his personal opinion of Y/n.
