''She has grown up to be a very strong woman.''

The next morning, when Y/n wakes up, she finds Mokuba sitting in his bed, reading one of the manga she had bought him yesterday.

Her back was screaming at her for having slept on a chair but she couldn't blame herself. It was a dark part of her that had reappeared late at night and she couldn't do anything when her past resurfaced except let the emotions take over her. After all, she could never escape the past, no matter how fast she ran from it.

So, because of her own problems and also the sense that her presence would be needed, she stayed by Mokuba's side for the night, and even if she was in pain and her back was against her decision, she didn't regret it one bit.

And now, all she had to do was wish. She had H-O-P-E (Chapter 3), she believed that she had found a safe place and she was delighted to see it wasn't like before. She had escaped a place to end up somewhere even darker. Found haven worse than the last one (Chapter 5). She could on pray to not have another flashback soon.

But she didn't know anything. Sometimes she had three nights straight where she could simply sit in her bed and cry as thoughts, sayings and events from the past came back to her. It had happened twice since she was with Kaiba. So two times in four days. That was also very much, but Y/n put in on account that it was because she was with new people. Those two people were making her think more about what had happened.

However, Mokuba and Kaiba were completely different from all the people she had met before. She could trust them because they were just like her. They were similar, very similar.

She missed her sister so much. The hole in her chest was only growing with the passing minutes, hours and days. Four days were down, only three days were left. Y/n didn't know what would happen if she and Kaiba failed to save S/n. What would happen to her sister, to her contract and to the new relationship she had created with Mokuba. But also, she didn't want to admit it, but she was worried about her future relationship with Kaiba.

Failing here meant she could probably never look in Seto Kaiba's direction ever again. And that thought hurt her a lot. Because she had grown attached to him, probably just as much as she had grown attached to Mokuba.

She was staring at the wall in front of her for a while now. Mokuba decided to pull her out of her thoughts seeing as her expression was turning sadder by the second.

''Y/n! Can we cook together today? I want to learn how to make that steak you made Seto on your first night here! And then, can we do cupcakes for when big bro comes back from his business travel?''

The woman looked at the boy and smiled at him. She was thankful he had pulled her from her trance.

''Of course we can! Let's get dressed and meet in the kitchen? We'll have about five hours before your brother comes back.''

Music was blasting through the speakers, laughter was one of the only sounds heard in the entire house. Mokuba and Y/n were singing, dancing and moving around the kitchen. The sight made the servants, Fugata and Miranda smiling and chuckling giddily.

This wasn't something they saw everyday. It had been a couple of hours already since they had started cooking. In the end, they had decided to go with something other than steak, something that was different and that made both of them hungry just at the thought. They had tacos!

While Y/n was doing the tacos, she was also instructing Mokuba to make some cupcakes and cookies. So, when Seto's car was parked in the parking lot and Roland and Seto walked out, the smell of food was all over the manor.
