''She smiled warmly at S/n. She giggled with Mokuba.

She chuckled with the bodyguards. And she laughed, only with Seto.''

The next morning, Y/n woke up early, like she always did. But this time, a pounding headache greeted her—a souvenir from last night's drinks. As she rolled over in the large bed, her gaze landed on Seto, still fast asleep.

She didn't move. Just watched.

His hair had fallen gently over his brow, soft strands of light brown that begged to be touched. Her gaze wandered to his lips—not too thin, not too full. Perfect. Bow-shaped. Parted slightly as he breathed deeply in sleep.

''I love you, Blue,'' she whispered.

Her eyes traced his sharp jawline, the slope of it a perfect frame for those almond-shaped eyes she knew so well. They were closed now, but she could easily picture them—icy blue when indifferent, oceanic and stormy when angry. And when they landed on her? They fractured like cracked glass. As if the weight of what he felt for her was too much for even his eyes to contain.

Her gaze slid lower, to his arms—chiseled, strong, protective. His whole body reminded her of a stone amidst a storm—unyielding, grounded, a place of safety she always found herself returning to.

Unable to resist, she reached for him, fingertips brushing his cheek. His skin turned pink beneath her touch. Her finger drifted to his lips.

''You're so handsome,'' she murmured.

His eyes suddenly snapped open—mesmerizing aquamarine blue—and a grin curled on his face.

''Thank you, Red. You're gorgeous—even with that chaotic bed hair.''

Y/n jolted upright, cheeks flushing scarlet.

''You jerk! You could've told me you were awake!''

Seto chuckled, his hand lazily reaching up to twirl a strand of her messy hair.

''Didn't mean to scare you.''

She stared at him, still blushing, but now smiling. Her heartbeat finally slowed. He had scared her, but... she also didn't mind. She lay back down beside him, turning to face him.

''So,'' he began, ''today we're meeting that Cassian fellow?''

Y/n's eyes remained locked on his. ''Yeah.''

Y/n took a second before continuing, her voice softer. ''I'm actually glad we're meeting him here. I feel more at peace in this house. It's my home now.''

Seto smiled. ''I'm happy to hear that. Just remember—it'll always be yours. No matter what happens to me, or us. This will always be your home, Red.''

A thankful look settled on her face.

''I think we're endgame, Seto. I couldn't imagine finding someone better. You respect me. You never push me to do things I'm not ready for. You give me space and freedom, but still hold me when I fall apart. You listen—even to my craziest ideas. I honestly thought you were too good to be true when we first met.''

Seto didn't respond with words. Instead, he pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her. They stayed like that—entwined, breathing as one—for more than an hour.

Eventually, she stirred. ''We should probably get up. I need to make breakfast, and we have to get ready for Cassian.''

Seto groaned, burying his face in her soft hair, inhaling the sweet, fruity scent of her shampoo.
