Chapter 22- Article & Cars

''She could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. After so long.''

After the kiss, both Seto and Y/n put themselves into what they call ''Business Mode''. Meaning, they would completely push aside their personal lives and matters and focus on work. Or, in this day's case, on the saving of S/n L/n.

It didn't take much more time for Mokuba, Fugata, Roland, and Miranda to join them downstairs. The atmosphere wasn't like it normally was. The smiles and giddiness and the laughs when seeing Mokuba come down with his messy hair and numerous yawns coming from him.

Today, everyone was slightly tense, thinking about what was coming. As soon as the clock hits 7 a.m, Y/n sends her message to her friend in the journal, telling him it was the perfect time to publish the new article they had so meticulously worked on.

When she received the news that the morning article had been officially published, she nodded at the team, and they all got moving. Roland and Miranda got into one of Seto's cars and drove off to prepare for the press conference that was going to happen. They had to check to see if the holograms were working correctly and if the place where the press would be held was appropriate for the holograms to work.

Fugata and Mokuba took another car and went in the direction of the L/n Manor, where they would be met by Laura, who had been contacted at the last minute. Y/n had given her necklace to Mokuba so everyone in the household would know about him. Everyone working for her already knows that means he has all the powers over him. And if anything happened, Y/n was just a phone call away. Besides, he was going with both Fugata, who wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone who got too dangerous, and with Laura, who knew the house and all the secret hideouts, unlike most of the servants.

Y/n and Seto were the last duo to leave, taking their most discreet car and getting on their way to the place where S/n was being held prisoner. While Seto was driving, Y/n pulled her phone out and opened her phone to the new article. She put the radio silent and started to read the article out loud for her and Seto.

According to sources close to the couple, their relationship began when they met at a ball designed by the bigger enterprises, where both had received an invitation—something that they have in common would be their want to not go, but having their younger siblings force them to. Their first meeting was a coincidence. "It started with going to a ball because their brother/sister wanted to, and they ended up catching each other's attention" said an employee that worked under Y/n Corp. "Some of us knew it was coming, we were simply counting the days. We were very surprised a couple of days ago, when Lady L/n started working more often from Sir Kaiba's office."
