Chapter 32-Invitation & Preparations

''Both CEOs had each other as weaknesses.

Each couple decided to eat lunch in their individual rooms. Well, Y/n cooked for all of them, and she made everyone favorite's dishes. She prepared steak au poivre for Seto with some pasta on the side, a small wink to her first time cooking in the Estate.

She made dumplings and sushi for Mokuba and S/n, even though she knew S/n would prefer eating sweets, she knew Mokuba loved sushi so she decided to add dumplings to their lunch to make something else for her sister if she didn't feel like sushi.

For Miranda and Roland, Seto proposed doing some pesto pasta with chicken tenders, an all time favorite of Roland, who says to have eaten it on his first date with Miranda.

While Y/n was working around in the kitchen, Seto was sitting at the table, enjoying the way she was moving around. She looked comfortable. She looked at peace, like she was home. But Seto knew a home was not a place or a building. It was a person. And in his case, there were many of them that made his home.

Mokuba, Y/n, Roland, Fugata, S/n, Miranda. All of them formed this beautiful circle. Their relations were sometimes difficult, especially with Y/n and Seto being well known, but he knew that if they all stayed together, they would be able to defeat anyone and anything.

So while Y/n was humming to herself in pure happiness, he enjoyed staring at her hips moving, at the way she bit her lip when she was focused on spreading sauce on the dumplings to add some style to the plate.

And with every passing second, Seto feels more and more in love. She was so gorgeous, so capable and strong. She was brave. She was a murderer nonetheless, but at least he was his. He refuses to take her without her sins. He refused to take her partially. Because those acts she had committed, they were a part of her.

And he loved her, not in spite of them, nor just because of them. He loved her with all of them because they make her the woman she is today. When she finished working on the food, servants went to give the two other couples their plates while the two CEOs returned to Seto's bedroom to eat.

Mokuba had woken up S/n for her to eat. She did so with an appetite, immediately knowing it was her sister's work as soon as she took a bite of a dumpling. After they both finished, they laid back down and S/n fell back into Dreamland, this time with Mokuba following after her quickly.

Miranda and Roland were still discussing books when food arrived, they decided to take a small break, put a show on their T.V while they savored their pastas and remembered their first date with nostalgia.

In the afternoon, the three duos met up for some tea and sweets. Seto wanted to discuss with all of them the problem and let S/n and Mokuba finally know about it, since both teenagers had been kept in the shadows. They all settled in the living room, on the comfortable couches. Fugata joined them, since he had just come in for work. He had taken a half-day off to spend some time with his parents.
