''She had begged all the Gods, cried all her tears.
It didn't stop. She found herself sadder.''
Once the contract was signed, Y/n asked Seto when she was supposed to start. Seto told her to get comfortable on the desk that was positioned on his left. Both of the desks were positioned to form an 'L' in the room, so Y/n was facing a wall while Seto was looking straight at the door. His desk being on Y/n's right.
The girl looked at Seto, who once having told her to settle in, decided to go back to his work. She walked out to bring Miranda in.
''I hope you have no problem with Miranda being here.''
Y/n actually simply said that because she knew she had to. She didn't want someone to throw Miranda out because she wasn't around and Seto didn't know about her. But for her, whether Seto cared or not, she knew Miranda wouldn't leave her side.
Seto glanced from his screen, his blue eyes staring at her before he looked toward where Roland was standing, Fugata having left as soon as Roland came back.
''As long as it is not a distraction to both of them, then I will accept her presence.''
Both started blushing lightly making Y/n chuckle loudly. She decided to keep that moment in mind if she ever wanted to tease Miranda.
Miranda hands her her laptop that she knew Y/n would need and the young CEO smiled at her before murmuring a thank you. She sat, looked at the empty papers, pens and post-its on her desk. She also took notice of the phone that was laying on her desk and the empty mug with the Kaiba Corp logo.
As soon as she opened her laptop, the phone rang. She looked at it for a few seconds, letting it ring a few times before she felt Seto's cold gaze on her, annoyance floating in the room. She finally decided to take it.
''L/- Kaiba Corp, what can I do for you?''
Y/n felt dumb almost saying the name of her company, but things were still slightly new to her. She also didn't have the time to think too much of it because a man started talking on the other end of the phone.
She quickly grabbed one of the pens and started scribbling information down on the paper. Unaware of Seto's eyes on her, watching every single one of her nods and her short smile at the end of the phone call. She wished him a good afternoon right before he closed.
When she put the phone back to its place, she turned to Seto who was still watching her.
''I'm going to need access to your schedule.''
Seto simply looked back at his own laptop before opening a new window and sending Y/n the link to his schedule by email.
''Also, do I have to ask you your opinion or approbation for every meeting I place on it?''
Seto simply shrugged.
''Put it in my agenda and tell me about it, but you don't have to ask me the date and time.''
Y/n nodded her head once and then turned to her small piece of paper. She had scribbled down the name of the man who had just called and his phone number, having promised to call him as soon as she found time free in Seto's schedule.
She dialed the number and waited patiently for him to pick up. His surprised voice made Y/n smile. She discussed with him a couple of minutes for the perfect meeting date before she closed the phone and added something in Seto's planner.
''You have a meeting with Mr. Jones on Thursday at four. He wished to discuss a new program for your duel disks.''
Seto simply nodded his head, staring at Y/n like she was some kind of alien. He was truly surprised by how quick she got into her new work.
