— YOU ENDED UP STAYING AT A SECLUDED CORNER OF THE SHIP, PLAYING ON YOUR PHONE FOR THE REST OF THE 3 HOURS. your social battery was almost completely empty by now, you couldn't wait to reach the hotel all of you were staying at. Childe informed everyone that we're all going to be sharing a room with one other person. you were okay with that, not like you could complain as he was the one paying for each and every one of you guys.
as long as you're not rooming with a specific blonde girl, you think that you'll be fine. nothing could be worse than that to be honest.

"excuse m-" the man's words were interrupted by a knock on the door, maybe it was Childe coming into to say 'GET PRANKED LMAOMAOAO'. both you and Kaveh stood infront of the door, nodding and silently counting to three before turning the door handle together and flinging the door open only to see a jaw-dropped hotel attendant.
"uhm, excuse me sir and miss. but it seems like there was a switch up in the rooms said the man who booked the rooms for you. I'll help you move your luggage, Miss Y/n. your new roommate will be here shortly, Sir Kaveh. oh and please don't do that with the doors again." you and Kaveh were embarrassed, rubbing the back of your neck. you grabbed your luggage and bag, walking beside the attendant who was leading you to your new room.
"here it is, enjoy your stay." she halted in front of room 302, opening the door for you.
"thanks, I will." you entered the room, it was the same as the one who were originally in with Kaveh. you went further in, you were curious on who your actual roommate would be. but you must say you were fairly disappointed when you saw a flash of blonde when your stepped into the main room.
to your surprise, she fortunately stayed silent and didn't say anything but you knew the next 4 days here were going to he absolute hell for you.
shivers were sent down you spine, even so you ignored her and walked towards the other bed that was on the opposite side of hers. you set down luggage and bags, and sat down on your bed in complete silence.

right after you finished texting Childe, a notification popped up.
it was Kazuha. you weren't sure if you should respond or not. you chose to respond a little later.
you changed your outfit to go downstairs to the hotel lobby. all of you wanted to go to the Liyue Harbor for a bit since it was still around noon. Lumine was still just mindlessly scrolling through her phone, you couldn't care less. you just left her and exited the room, took the elevator down to the main lobby on the ground floor. spotting your two best friends already there. you ran up to them and pulled them into an embrace.
"this vacation is going to be a blast bro," you grinned, ecstatic for this entire trip. but your mood was still slightly dampen because of the fact you had to share a room with someone you absolutely despised. but at least you won't get in the way of her perseverance to win over Kazuha's heart now.
"RIGHT, I CAN'T BELIEVE CHILDE BOOKED US SUCH A NICE HOTEL?!" Hu Tao yells, hurting both you and Yoimiya's eardrums with how loud her voice is but you all just laughed with each other and yapped about whatever while patiently waiting for the rest to come down.
you felt a tap on your shoulder, you look back to see those crimson eyes you dreaded. you loved and hated seeing him. you almost instantly looked down, avoiding any sorts of eye contact with the taller guy.
"why didn't you read my message? is something wrong n/n?" he asks, you could hear the hint of concern in his voice. why was he even concerned? it's not like you mattered that much to him, you were just a friend in his eyes. nothing more, y/n.
"i gotta go use the restroom, sorry." you walked away, heading to the women's bathroom. you couldn't bare the feeling. the feeling in your heart whenever you hear his sweet voice. why can't you guys be any much more? it hurted you. but what could you do about it? he likes someone else y/n.
you washed your face, staring at your reflection in the mirror in front of you. why were you so upset about this? you were the one who chose to put this burden upon yourself.
you regained your composure as you heard someone enter the restroom.
