18. Sugar High
"Harry! I'm going, I'll be back tomorrow," I shout up the stairs to Harry who was still in his room.
"Alright, have fun with the boyf; be safe," he shouts back.
I cringe, "Get lost you fool, he doesn't even like me. Besides I'm going to hang watch films and eat junk food with him AND his younger sister, Aimee," knowing what he was indicating.
I walk my way to Connor's house. Tonight I was having a sleepover at Connor's house with him and Aimee; I was quite looking forward to it to be honest, I was in need of a comfort eating night.
I was dressed in a white shirt with an open checked blouse/ shirt over the top, along with black jeans and boots.
I knocked on the front door and Connor answered, "Hi beautiful."
"Hi Con," I hug him back.
Suddenly I nearly get tackled to the ground by someone, Aimee, hugging my lower half. I reach down and hug her back.
"Hello lovely," I say as she takes my hand and I give her a bag full of sweets and chocolate I brought on my way.
"Beautiful, she's now going to be on a sugar high all night and we'll have to deal with it because Lauren's at her friends and is back later and Mum and Dad are going out for tonight and will be back tomorrow." Connor complains.
I laugh at his attitude.
"Oh well, lighten up; you're stuck with us now."
"But we're basically baby- sitting," he moans.
"It's fine, besides I've always wanted a younger sibling."
"Sorry, this is so short notice," Meg says apologetically as her and Matt rush out of the house.
"Honestly, its fine," I try and convince her for the 5th time. She felt bad that she was leaving Aimee with Con and I.
"Thank you so much darling. Help yourself to anything. There's money in the kitchen, if you want to buy pizza or anything. And Con knows the rest. Phone numbers on the fridge etcetera, etcetera," she says hurriedly.
She gives me a hug, thanking me again. She then hugs Connor telling him to be nice and not be annoying. And hugs Aimee telling her to be good and do as she's told.
Matt does the same; before they both leave.
"Right, what now," Connor says as soon as the front door slams shut.
I look at Connor; "First, we need to change into out pyjamas so we're comfortable."
"Great. So Aimee and I will change in our rooms and you can take the upstairs bathroom. LAST ONE TO GET READY SMELLS!" he shouts, already racing up the stairs.
I take Aimee's hand and my bag and we follow his lead. I leave Aimee and run into the bathroom quickly getting changed into my white bunny onesie; Harry had insisted on buying it for me when we went shopping one time. I throw everything else in my bag and swing open the bathroom door to see Aimee and Connor standing outside it dressed in the exact same onesie as me.
"We're matching," Aimee says excitedly.
I just start laughing at how ridiculous Connor looked; he looked at me rolling his eyes at me.
"Don't ask; it's tradition that Aimee and I wear matching onesies on movie nights. Can you believe that my mother actually bought me this; for my birthday-," as he continued ranting on about how his Mum had bought it for him; I took my phone out of my bag and took a few pictures, Connor soon clicking on to what I was doing.
