21. Random Shopping Trip

I text Connor when I'm back in the car, letting him know how it went. He immediately texts me back, asking to meet up. I let him know that he can come round once I'm home.

As soon as we get home; Harry goes straight to his room and honestly I don't blame him, because I do the same thing. I text Connor and he says he's on his way. I'm so grateful to have a friend like him.

I open the door for Connor to come inside; as soon as I do he attacks me with a hug. I laugh, "Con, I can't breathe," he immediately loosens his grip, laughing.

"I brought you chocolate. And don't say thank you, it was nothing," he adds handing me the bag he was holding in his right hand.

I smile at him, rolling my eyes at the fact I can't say thank you to him.

We go to my room and I sit on my bed with my legs crossed whilst Con half lies, resting his head on the headboard.

"How was it," he asks seriously.

"Hard, really hard. But it feels like I've got so much of my chest. Like all these things I've wanted to tell people, I told them. And although I don't have the answers, I feel like a weight has been taken off my back; yes, as cliché as that sounds."

"That's good. Will you go back?"

"I want to, it was calming. It made me feel like maybe everything isn't as bad as it seems, maybe it gets better."

He nods, agreeing.

"What about Harry," he asks after a moment.

"I don't know," I tell him, "I left him to talk to them alone once I'd left to go back to the car. Once he came back he didn't say much. He seemed upset. I think I'll talk to him tomorrow; maybe he just needs to sleep on it. It's been a stressful day."

"I can imagine."

Connor and I decide to chill for the rest of the day; lounging, talking about life, watching TV, having the most random conversations.

"So, Theo James or Douglas Booth," Connor asks me.

We had decided in doing a would you rather, celeb version, and Connor was currently searching victims of the game on my laptop.

"You cannot make me choose. I love both of them. Please," I moan.

He nods slyly. The nerve of that boy. Have you seen Theo James and Douglas Booth?

"I'm going mute," I tell him, zipping my mouth.

"You wouldn't last 10 minutes," he challenges.

I go mute for a total of 11 minutes 23 seconds, before it pains me to not talk.

"Selena Gomez or Taylor Swift," I ask him.

"Selena," he says immediately, "She is hot with a capital H," he justifies.

"This is boring," I complain, "Let's do something else."

"Alright then, you decide?"

"Let's go out, fancy going into town?" I suggest, considering it was only lunchtime.

"Why not," he says getting up from my bed, "I'm just going to the loo, I'll be back."

I don't get why we do that. I do it all the time; state to everyone I'm with that I'm going to the loo. Surely they don't want to know that I'm going to empty my bladder. To be completely honest, I don't think they would even care.

Whilst Con goes to the toilet; I get up from my bed and tie my hair into a half up half down style, tying the top half up and leaving the bottom half down. I then put on some lip balm, and then just as Connor comes back into the room, I put on some mascara.
