Sam Carpenter comes into town, hearing of her sister's attack, instantly blaming herself. When she meets Y/n, she makes it very clear straight away she's at the top of her suspect list.
Y/n doesn't get along with Sam for this. They argue a lot. But...
A/n: has anyone seen descendants? Cause I'm so tempted to write one on Evie, Mal or Audrey...

Y/n's POV:
I pushed open the doors and the morning sun beamed down on my face. I squinted my eyes and continued walking out the building, pushing past the tons of reporters that yelled questions at us and shoved microphones and cameras right in our faces.
Tara grabbed my hand and I helped to lead her through the crowd, we finally got out and walked towards a taxi but we stop in our tracks when we hear a familiar voice stand out in the crowd, "Gale Weathers, Channel 4! Do you ladies think you're the reason the Ghostface Killer has come to the Big Apple?"
Sam turned and stared at Gale who stood there, mic outstretched. She furrowed her brows and swung at her, Gale ducked the punch easily, "Nice try, sweetie, but I've done this dance before-" before Gale could even finish her sentence Tara then swung her fist, catching her with a hard right cross. The crowd gasped.
Gale looked at her, holding her face where she was punched in shock, "Stay away from us" Tara ordered, grabbing my hand again and walking away to the taxi with Sam following behind us.
"You're really still mad at me?" Gale asked, we turned and saw the camera was lowered and she wasn't holding her mic anymore, "You said you wouldn't write a book about what happened, and then you wrote a book about what happened!" Sam yelled at her, "Oh come on! Someone was going to write about it! It's what I do!" She argued back.
Tara opened the car door for me and I got in, sliding to the other side, "I heard you couldn't sell the movie rights" Tara said to her, "That's not- you know, it's really all about true crime limited series these days" she said, sounding sad, like we'd have any sympathy for her, "After everything we went through together. What would Dewey think?" Tara said. Damn, she really went there.
Gale went quiet for a second, "That's a low blow" she said quietly, "So was the book. You called me unstable and a born killer!" Sam yelled at her, "You're taking that out of context-" she defended but Sam cut her off, "That was literally a quote!" She yelled back. She turned away, clearly getting fed up with the conversation. She climbed into the taxi too, sliding in so she was sat next to me.
I looked at her, she looked at me. We made eye contact for a second before I broke it by looking out the window.
"Look, I want to catch this fucker as much as you do, okay?" Gale said, Tara looked at her "Maybe. Or maybe you're afraid that without Ghostface in your life, you'll just fade away" Tara spat before getting into the car and shutting the door.
"Cold..." I said, nodding at Tara, she chuckled and shook her head, "I've had enough of her" she said, I nodded in agreement, "Yeah same..." I admitted.
