Sam Carpenter comes into town, hearing of her sister's attack, instantly blaming herself. When she meets Y/n, she makes it very clear straight away she's at the top of her suspect list.
Y/n doesn't get along with Sam for this. They argue a lot. But...

Y/n's POV:
I sat down under a tree on the field with Anika and Tara. I had only one class left of the day then I could go home finally. I sighed and laid down on the floor, my head in Tara's lap, "You good?" Tara asked me, I sighed and shrugged.
"Yeah...just can't be asked to deal with this bullshit again..." I admitted, they nodded, "Did you talk to Sam yesterday? About her like bringing that guy over" Anika asked, I nodded mu hear and turned to look at her, "Yeah...and it did not go well...but whatever. I'm not really mad at her anymore" I said.
"Wait what, why?" Tara asked, "Because...as much as I like her, nothing was happening between us, it's only fair that she gets to move on, I can't be mad over that" I said, they stayed quiet for a second.
"Damn...wise" Anika joked, breaking the silence, we laughed and nodded, "So wise" Tara said, "What can I say, I've grown" I joked, flipping my hair.
After I finished my final class, Anika and Tara stayed behind to wait for me. Even though their last class finished ages ago. I walked over to them, my bag on my back, "You and the others are coming over, right?" I asked Anika as we walked.
"Yeah of course" she said, I smiled and nodded, "Okay good" I said, I looked at Tara who was on her phone, smiling at it. I grin and nudge Anika, pointing at Tara's phone.
"Oooh, you talking to your boyfriend?" Anika asked, I laughed and so did Tara, she shook her head and turned her phone off, sliding it into her pocket, "He's not my boyfriend!" She defended, "Yet..." I said, finishing her sentence for her.
"Oh we should get boba!" Anika exclaimed, tugging my arm and pointing to the boba shop just ahead of us, "Ooh yeah! Good idea" Tara agreed. I smiled and we walked inside.
"What one you getting?" Tara asked me, I hummed and looked at the menu that was above the cashiers head, "Probably mango...you?" I asked her, "Strawberry, duh" she said, like it was obvious I chuckled and looked at Anika who walked over with her cherry bubble tea, "How have you already got one?" I asked, her she shrugged and drank some.
"Guess they just love me so they made it quickly" she said honestly, Tara laughed, "Only because you're always here after college" she said, making me laugh too.
I ordered my drink and so did Tara, once we got them we started walking home, "Can we watch the babadook tonight?" Tara asked us, we quickly shook our heads, "Absolutely not...that shit scares me like crazy" Anika admitted, I nodded in agreement.
"Let's watch something nice like...home alone!" I offered, they looked at me, cocking their brows, "I'm kidding! Of course not...it's not even Christmas" I said, obviously lying...I love home alone.
