Irene who is now in a dilemma does not know what to do.
If she remembers correctly, this scene is supposed to be where it lead to the second male lead, the black masked guard to fall in love with the male protagonist, as the holy priest took care of the injured second male lead.
But now, it seems the plot change because now the one who seriously injured is the holy priest, while the second male lead is physically fine.
While thinking about the plot changes, Irene is more worried that she had accidentally taken the male protagonist role of becoming the second male lead saviour. Worse of all, she also the first person who see his face and took off his mask!!!
In the story, the second male lead will only love the person who see his face and open his mask, that's what lead the romance between the male protagonist and the second male lead. Still, this is a BL romance. That probably won't be a problem.
But right now, everything is out of the plot.
Could it be...because she didn't follow the plot story of being the villainess?
That's why the plot changes??
Could it be...she can change the plot?
But right now, what she's supposed to do? Should she leave them? Thinking of their condition, Irene couldn't bear to leave them.
It better to treat them faster, so she can hurriedly back to Marcus and Marcy.
But what happened if they recognises me?
Frustrated, there too many questions in her head right now.
Suddenly an idea came into her mind. All she had to do is cover her face.
"Yes, brilliant."
Irene pull out a handkerchief inside her basket then she cover half of her face leaving only her eyes visible.

Finally regain his consciousness, he hurriedly wake up looking around.
"Your holiness!"
He see that the holy priest is still unconscious, as a young woman tending to his wound with a bonfire in the middle of them.
The woman face is covered, only her eyes could be seen.
He is looking at her, as she is.
"Who are you?" He questions sternly.
"No one, just a passerby. I saw the two of you in the river, so I pulled both of you out. Luckily the two of you survive." Irene explains.
She calmly tending over the holy priest wound but at the same time she inspecting the second male lead reaction.
He seems to be thinking something. When he touches his face, he realises his face wasn't covered.
Irene then divert her eyes back to the holy priest wound. She can sense that the second male lead is looking towards her.
"My....my masked, did you take it off?"
Hearing this question, Irene memorized her line in her head.
"No. Were you supposed to cover your face? Because I found you by the river with your barefaced."
Finished applying the ointment, Irene then tries to wrap the holy priest wound.
"Hrrm..." A small grunt could be heard.
Both Irene and the second male lead was startled.
"Your holiness..." The second male lead approaches them to see the holy priest condition.
Lucas then regain his consciousness, as he opens his eyes. The first one he saw is a young woman with a covered face, looking at the woman mesmerizing eyes, Lucas was drawn to it.
"Angel...." He mutters.
Seeing that he's awake, Irene finishes wrapping his wound.
"Your companion has awaken. I suggest you to take him to a physician for better treatment." Irene said, as she arrange her tool into her basket.
"Your holiness, how do you feel?" The second male lead help Lucas up.
"Who..." Lucas is confused as he looks at the second male lead. Because this is the first time he saw his face.
"Your holiness, I'm your shadow guard."
Assessing their situation, Lucas then nod his head.
"I feel a bit dizzy, and my arm..."
"I had just apply some ointment to your wound. Luckily your wound is not that deep, otherwise it will be easily infected. By few more days, it will heal. However, it will left you a scar. So I suggest you seek an expert to remove your scar." Irene explains.
"No worries, young lady. I don't care about the scar. You have saved our lives. For that, we will forever indebted to you." Lucas said, as he bow down his head in grateful.
The same goes to the second male lead as he bow down to her.
"We're forever grateful and indebted to you, thank you for saving our life."
"When I returned back, I will reward you handsomely." Lucas said.
"No need, young master. It just a small matter, saving life is the right thing to do."
With pale face, Lucas drew a smile.
"You have good heart, young lady. May I know your name?"
Hearing the questions, Irene hesitate to said her name.
Seemingly notice Irene discomfort, Lucas introduced himself.
"I'm Lucas Saltor, the holy priest of the Loistava kingdom. And he is my guard." Then he turn to look at the second male lead to introduce himself.
"I'm Arlo."
Seeing that the two lead of the novel introduces themselves toward her, Irene took a deep breath before saying her name.
"You may call me Irene."
