Waking up from the explosion, Irene ear are hurt as it ringing and buzzing. She hardly could get up as she looks around. The fire is already eaten up the place. She coughed as she had inhale a lot of smoke. Irene see several people were unconscious. To her relief, she saw that the exit path are not blocked. They can still be saved. The young man who beside her is still unconscious.
"Wake up, wake up!" As she coughed, Irene still try to wake the young man up.
The young boy eyes flutter open as he coughed.
"Sister..." He mutters.
"Come on...go now, go straight out." She told him. The young boy obeyed her word as he struggles to go towards the exit. Irene then goes to the other people as she check them up, despite the heat of the blazing fire inside.
Seemingly everyone still alive and regain their consciousness as she wakes them up. Seeing that everyone is out, Irene was about to walk towards the exit. When suddenly someone grabs her hair.
"Ahh!" Irene scream in shock and pain.
"Hello, little princess." The Nebun Mother whispers to her ear. Just as Irene was about to struggle, the Nebun Mother throws her to the ground, far from the exit. Irene who is terrified tries to get up as she stumble towards a stairs.
The Nebun Mother grab her leg as she pulls Irene towards her. She then stabs her thigh.
"Ahhhh!!!!" Irene scream, as she feels the excruciating pain.
"How does it feel like, little princess?"
The Nebun Mother smile maliciously. She move around the dagger inside Irene flesh.
Irene in pain, take a firm hold of the dagger as she bang her head to the Nebun Mother head hard.
Pak!!
"Ahh!!" The Nebun Mother scream in pains as she falls into the ground, releasing her hold of the dagger.
Irene, who's in pain and tears had to forcefully pull out the dagger from her thigh. For the first time she experienced this kind of pain. She whimper in agony as she pulls it out.
Irene using the veil to tied her injured thigh, to stop the bleeding.
The Nebun Mother recover from the pain of her head. She crawl back towards Irene.
Irene grew terrified as she swing the dagger towards Nebun Mother. Successfully injured the Nebun Mother palm. But the Nebun Mother didn't even flinch. She smile back at her as she lick her own blood from her palm. Seeing such sight make Irene more uncomfortable and scared.
The Nebun Mother easily smack the dagger out of her hand.
Irene was shocked.
The Nebun Mother grab her collar.
"Let's have some fun, princess." She said as she pull her to upstairs.
"No! Let go! Let go of me!!" Irene struggling in pain as the Nebun Mother forcefully pull her.
She saw that the Nebun Mother tries to pull her towards the hole of the lion den. Irene bite Nebun Mother hand hard.
"Ahh! You little..."
The Nebun Mother scream as she let her go. Irene tries to crawl away from her. The Nebun Mother saw her, then she grab her head as she bang Irene head hard against the ground.
Bak!!
Irene forehead become bruised red, as it throbbing in pain and her head feels dizzy. The Nebun Mother then drag her back towards the lion den.
"Here is where we play the game, princess. Let see if you die by the fire or by my pet hungry lion. Shall we?"
Irene couldn't move or say anything. For she is helpless.
Just when the Nebun Mother was about to throw Irene inside, she feels someone behind her. She turn to see the golden masked man with a crossbow aiming at her. Feeling threatened, she pull Irene to her front using her as hostage.
"Here...I got your little princess!"
The golden masked man remains silent. Irene looks at the person in front. Her vision are little bit fuzzy. She couldn't see clearly.
"Do you think I don't know what your master planning? You want her alive! Hahahaha...you don't want her dead." The Nebun Mother laughed as she pulls Irene closely to her.
"Now, I can just easily throw her down. But if you lower down your weapon....you may still save her." She considered. But the golden masked man still remains quiet.
Irene who finally regain her vision, saw the man aiming the crossbow at them. She notice the symbol on his armour. A symbol of a noble. And the only one who could wear that, is the....Crown Prince!!!!
Irene was shocked. Finally realising who's the man behind the golden mask. While, the Nebun Mother remain oblivious.
"You listen to me young boy!! I said lower your weapon or your little prince beloved dies by my pet lion!" The Nebun Mother threatened.
Irene sensing the danger of her life, as she grew alert. Noticing the eyes of the man behind the mask is looking at her.
Irene braced herself. The golden masked man shoots his arrow without hesitation.
Swoosh!
Irene swiftly moves away as the arrow was released.
The arrow then landed on.....the Nebun Mother forehead.
Dead. The Nebun Mother was the one who falls to her own pet lion den.
It could be heard the sound of her body falls on the ground.
The hungry lion growls as it walks out from it cave. The lion then pounce over the Nebun Mother dead body, eating the flesh in the midst of burning place.
