Meeting The Fiancée's

In the palace, the crown prince is busy in his reading room. The assistant came inside the room.
"Your royal highness..." The assistant greet him as he slightly bow his head.
"Hmm..." Nickolai respond as he flip one the pages of a book on his desk.
"To report you, the old priest told me about the holy priest predicament. It seems that...he is ill."
Nickolai stops going through the document.
"He is...sick? How bad is it?" Nickolai ask, worried.
"He runs fever cold. And...he doesn't wish to see anyone...for the time being." The assistant told him, just as Nickolai is about to leave. But hearing the last sentence, Nickolai sit back down.
He intentionally told one of his subordinate to divert Lucas from where the woman has escaped to. He even told them to fake a scenario, where the carriage was found crashed. And that maybe, the woman he searched for has died fell off the cliff. Nickolai had thought that Lucas will stop searching. But no, Lucas stubbornly try to find that woman, whether it is her dead body. Unsuccessful to found her, Lucas finally stop searching. Just when he thought everything will turn back to normal, Lucas rarely came out in the temple and refused to see anyone. Receiving news about the missing and probably dead fiancee, the king excuse Lucas from any duty as a consolation by giving him time to grief before resuming his duty. Such news becomes sensational to the people of Loistava. Some people were sad for the holy priest loss and some were happy for they hoping to have a chance to be with him. Nickolai want to see him, but Lucas had rejected him. All of that because of that damned woman. He never thought that Lucas had that deep feelings with that woman.

"The king and queen already set the date for your upcoming wedding, your highness. Three days for now." The assistant then adds.

Nickolai sneered.

When he heard the news about that woman being brought home, he expected that the marriage will definitely be took place. But 3 weeks has passed by. The duke of Wickson reported back to his father about his daughter well being. That she is in poor health. And her condition is worsen due to unexpected accident that she had occurred. She needed time and rest to recover. His father and the queen agree to his request, therefore the wedding is postponed.

When he had reached of age, he accidentally saw his father with the woman, who is now the queen, making love in the royal library. Seeing such sight was a disgrace and sickening. That woman was one of the candidates to be married with the king. The woman managed to seduce his father, with opening her legs wide. His father, the king who had been resolute and fair has degraded to be a lovesick fool for that woman. While the other women can only be the king concubines. Still what repulsive him more, how all the women in the harem tries any means to seduce him. Because they couldn't have the passion and affection from the king. Since then, he hated a woman existence.

"Your highness, there's something else." The assistant said, nervously. Nickolai look up. The assistant then gave him a letter.
"It is from lady Dacia Wickson, your fiancée."
Hearing that woman name, Nickolai took the letter and opened it. As he is curious. Upon reading it, he smirked.
"How bold of her. Seeking to meet with me...." Nickolai thought for awhile, when suddenly he get up from his chair.
The assistant follows him out.
"Where are you going, your highness?" The assistant asked anxiously.
"To see my fiancée." Nickolai answered.
