The Next day I made my way over to Jun Wu's office while San Long and our sisters were asleep. Yesterday the four of us had spent the day getting to know each other but I couldn't shake the uneasiness that had swirled into my body after finding out what Jun Wu had done to me.
My sister. He made me forget my sister.
Without making a sound I made my way up the long flight of stairs, snuck my way past Ling Wen's desk, and made my way into Jun Wu's office. He wasn't there but that didn't matter to me. I stood in front of his desk with my arms crossed and waited patiently for him to return.
An hour later he walked in yawning before looking at me confused. "Xianle"? "I don't give a dam what you do to me. I understand why I was banished three times, I even understand why you feel the need to beat me, and am ok with that but what I don't fucking understand is why the hell you would erase my memories of my little sister"!
"I knew you being around Hua Cheng would end in disaster, you're starting to act more like him every day". He said making his way to his desk. "And so what if I am!? At least he gives a dsm about me! He would've never erased my memories but I'm not the only one you did it to, you did it to San Long as well. Hua Ri needs her big brother just like Xi Li needs me. You had no right to hurt him like that".
"When it comes to the calamities I will do as I please, it doesn't matter to me if your fucking one of them or not, Hua Cheng, Qi Rong, He Xuan, and the new ghost king will all fall by my hands in the end".
"Ssn Long is stronger than you know, he won't be beaten easily". "It's true that you allowed him to reunite with his precious sister, that's something I was trying very hard to prevent but we both know Hua Cheng has a weakness and you know exactly what that weakness is Xianle".
Before I could utter a word I let out an inaudible scream of pain as the shackle around my throat tightened and the ones around my wrists and ankles activated sending shockwaves throughout my body. All I could do was lie on the floor in agony and look at him in distress as he stared down at me with the door opening two seconds later. Two guards came in and took me away.
San Long, please come for me
Mu Qing
I let out a sigh as I made my way over to Jun Wu's office. If it were up to me I would have gladly stayed with Feng Xin and Cuo Cuo. I want nothing more than for the three of us to be a family again but I have to be here. The sooner I give this report the sooner I can go back and be in Feng Xin's arms.
"Welcome back General Xuan Zhen". Ling Wen said as I entered her office. "Is His Majesty ready to see me"? "He is". I nodded and made my way down the hall to his office, once I was given the ok I made my way inside and bowed to him immediately.
"What took you so fucking long"? "My apologies sir, the mission had more difficulties than I had originally planned for. I managed to get rid of all the ghosts that were terrorizing the village but the end result ended in multiple injuries for me.
Mandates say for me to call for help when that happens but I was extremely low on spiritual energy and didn't have enough strength to enter a communication array". "I see. Who tended to your injuries then"? "One of the elderly ladies from the village. She took me in when I was unconscious and nursed me back to health until it was time for me to return, I owe my life to her".
"You owe your life to me. You wouldn't have anything if it wasn't for me you worthless street trash, never forget that". "Yes my lord". "Go, You're free until I call with your next assignment but you are under no circumstances to bother Xianle, he's on an important assignment for me and needs to focus on that. When he returns the two of you may talk".
"Yes my lord".
"I have a bad feeling about this master"
