Mu Qing

I woke up in our bed the next morning. The last thing I remember was falling asleep in Feng Xin's arms but it's clear he carried me upstairs to our bed while I was asleep.

I just hope no one saw us while he was taking us to our room. Our room.

I smiled to myself as I heard the door open. "Awake beautiful"? "Mhm, thank you so much for yesterday". I murmured. "Don't thank me just yet, I haven't even begun to fully spoil you yet".

I had no idea what he was talking about but said nothing as he placed me on my stomach and moved my hair to the side. I looked around confused but soon relaxed as I felt his firm hands rub against my back and shoulders both of us still naked.

"Mmm, how's Cuo"? "Our son is fine, he's with both our partners, right now I'm more focused on his papa". He added pressure to my shoulders and I moaned in response. "You're so tense my love. Any reason why"?

"Just a lot of missions back to back". I felt a sting at my wrist and did my best not to let my hand react, the last thing I wanted was for Feng Xin to find out about my shackle.

I'll lose him again if he finds out

He placed a gentle kiss on the back of my shoulder. "This is your home Qing, whenever you need a break you can come home to us". "Is that why everyone here calls me Master Mu Qing"?

"Yes, the last thing I want is for you to feel uncomfortable in our home". I teared up. "I don't deserve this". I whispered. "You deserve this and so so much more". "Feng Xin". "I love you Mu Qing".

"I love you too but I don't want to be a burden on you". "How could you ever possibly be a burden to me? This is your home just as much as it is mine". I placed my arms underneath my head. "I don't know, I just don't want it to look as if I'm taking advantage of you ever. Our positions are different right now".

"Are you talking about me being a ghost king"? "Yeah, it feels as if I'm not as important as you are". Before I knew it I was being turned on my back. I expected to see rage in his eyes but was met with nothing but love. "You are the most important thing in my life". He leaned down and kissed me.

"You are my boyfriend, the person that brings me so much joy, the reason I can still go on, a great papa to my son, my best friend, a great cuddler, fantastic stress reliever, an amazing kisser but most of all the person I love most in this world". He gave me a kiss with each compliment he gave.

"You're one of the important things in my life as well. You're the one that showed me I deserve to be loved, the one who saved me, my protector, my best friend, my lover, my safe place, and one of the people I love most". I kissed him with every compliment.

"Mu Qing". "I'm yours, I want no one else". "Stay". He cupped my cheek. "Stay here with us. Cuo and I miss you every day you're not here. It's not just me, he needs both his dads to take care of him".

"I know. I want nothing more than to be able to live here with the both of you but we both know I can't. Eventually I'll have to go back". "You don't, there's nothing stopping you from leaving and coming home". My mouth formed to say the words but I couldn't let them out. They were caught in my throat making it hard to figure out how to tell him.

You can't, he'll go after Jun Wu and end up hurt. Cuo will lose his daddy all over again if you open your mouth

"My love"? I looked at him sadly. "I love you so much, you know that but now's not the right time for us, I'm sorry". He looked at me sadly. "There's something you're not telling me". "Feng Xin". He pecked my lips. "I won't force you, I know you'll tell me when you're ready".

"For now you do have me". "Then I'll treasure every moment".
