"Are you sure you wanna go alone? Xie Li and I can always go with you for backup". "I appreciate the offer Mei Mei but I have a feeling that I need to go alone and see what it is he wants. Afterwards I'll go to He Xuan and the two of us will evaluate the situation together".

"What if he has information on Xie Lian"? "If he does that's even more of a reason for me to go besides I won't be completely alone, I'll have E Ming beside me the entire time".

"I will never let anything happen to my master lady Ri".

"I'm holding you to that E Ming. The last thing Xie Li and I want is to lose our brothers again". I leaned in and kissed her cheek. "That will never happen again, I promise".

He invited me to his palace and I made my way there right away once I had the directions for the teleportation array. Once through the door I was met with a throne room and stayed put as I waited for him to come.

"Hua Cheng". He said coming through the double doors a minute later. "You're the new ghost king? Any reason you didn't tell my gege you were alive"? "Just like your main focus is Xie Lian my main focus is Mu Qing but that's not why I called you over".

"Why am I here"? "I have reason to believe  Xie Lian is being held captive somewhere"? It took everything I had within me not to react. "What could possibly give you that impression"?

"My son has visions. He had a vision of his papa getting hurt and it happened not too long ago, I asked him if there was anything else he saw and he described Jun Wu to me along with Xie  Lian being locked up. I know you could care less about Mu Qing but we both do care about Xie Lian, I want you to work with me in freeing him".

"If I were to agree how would that work"? "I know how to break Jun Wu, I'll provide the distraction you need to get to Xie Lian and get him out safely". I thought for a bit. "You're his friend so I know your intentions are genuine but there's still someone I need to talk with first".

"As you wish".

"Are you busy? We need to talk"

"I'm wrapping up something right now, come over".

I made my way over to the neather water manor as fast as I possibly could and waited anxiously for him to come through the door. I had no idea what his business prior to this was all I knew is that I needed to talk with him.

"What's going on? You're even more stressed than the last time we talked". He asked coming in. I looked over at him with nothing but fear in my eyes. "Hua Cheng"? "Where does Jun Wu keep his prisoners? Please tell me you know". My arms were crossed as the look in my eyes turned to desperation.

"I do but it won't be easy to get there, do you have a feeling that's where Xie Lian is"? I nodded. "The new ghost king is his friend Feng Xin. His son has visions of the future and as a result, he saw Mu Qing being hurt and sick and Gege being imprisoned as well as Jun Wu, all of which have come true. He's agreed to create a distraction for me but I need your help getting to him, please He Xuan".

"You never have to ask, I'll always help you, Hua Cheng". He came over and hugged me and I hugged me back right away just as tight. "Thank you, my friend, thank you so much".
