Brady walked over to where both Aquamarine and I stood waiting for him and Blayke with a scowl on his face. His whole body was tense, and I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in question.

"Are you ok?" I asked and cocked my head while I studied him. "What happened?"

Brady shook his head and set his jaw tighter. "Don't worry about it, Ty," he said coldly. "It's nothing." He shifted his bag from one shoulder to the other, and I scowled and narrowed my eyes.

"Brady," I warned. "What happened?"

Brady sighed and moved a hand through his hair, shaking his head. "We will talk about that later," he said before he looked around, noticing that Blayke wasn't with us. "Where is Blayke?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question while he looked at me. "Isn't she wanting to see Natalie?" he asked and cocked his head while he studied me.

I shrugged and grimaced. "I don't know," I replied, honestly. "I think she might still be in the women's bathroom still getting ready." I looked at Aquamarine. "Do you think you can check the women's bathroom for us, please?" I asked. I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet, feeling bashful for what I was about to ask her. "Or do you think that might be too much?"

Aquamarine pressed her lips into a thin line and narrowed her eyes. She stayed silent and looked between the two of us before she looked at the women's bathroom before she looked at us again.

"Please," I said and tucked my head closer to my chest. "I want to make sure that she isn't doing anything stupid."

She raised an eyebrow in question. "And what can she do that is stupid?" she asked and cocked her head while she studied me with a small frown on her face. "Or are you going to tell me?"

I bit back a small smile and shook my head, not wanting to tell her that Blayke was a Siren, especially since I promised her that I wouldn't tell anyone. "Unfortunately, that is up to her," I said. "It's not my place to tell."

Aquamarine sighed and moved a hand through her hair with a shake of her head. "I will go see what's going on," she grumbled, and I couldn't help but breathe a small sigh of relief, grateful that she would. "After that, are we going to check on your other friend?" she asked and raised an eyebrow in question, and I nodded in confirmation.

"And then we'll go home and do some homework before we do something else," I said.

"No," Brady said and shook his head, and both Aquamarine and I looked at him with a raised eyebrow in question. "We'll have to do something else before we are able to go home."

I frowned, confused and cocked my head to the side, not knowing what he wanted us to do. "And what are we supposed to be doing? I thought we were going to go home after this."

"Oh, we are, but there is something else that we have to do," Brady said. "I'll tell you later, but I am not able to say anything right now." He shook his head and looked at me, giving me a pointed look, pressing his lips into a thin line. "We'll talk on the way, ok? It's not safe."

I bit back an annoyed sigh before I slowly nodded, deciding that it would be best for me not to push. "Ok," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet, and Brady bit back a small smirk.

"It's nothing dangerous, Ty," he said and shook his head. "I promise, and I would never do that to you." He looked at Aquamarine and pressed his lips into a thin line. "But can you go see where she is at, please? We need to get going."

Aquamarine bit back an annoyed sigh but nodded. "Fine," she said coldly. She glanced at me from the corner of her eye and offered me a tight smile before she turned around and walked toward the women's restroom.
