39| Baby Names

Y/n POV

It was later on that night and I was laying in our shared bed. I was looking up at the ceiling waiting for Glenn to come in. When I heard footsteps approaching I sat up.

He came in with a smile on his face and kicked off his shoes. He had no idea why I was avoiding him. Michonne and I practiced on what I would say to him and the different ways he would react.

"Hey gorgeous" He said with a smile on his face as he collapsed on his side of the bed.

"We need to talk" I said quickly as I fiddled with the ring on my finger. He sat up and looked at me with a confused look.

"Is this your way of breaking up with me?" He asked me questionable. I rolled my eyes at how he was acting like a child.

"No" I said quickly. "This is important. Glenn I'm pregnant again" I said quietly, he went pale. I silently cursed myself for telling him. "Please say something" I said  as I noticed he hadn't talked in forever.

"Fuck. Okay so this is not bad. We're safe now" Glenn said as he held his hands in mine. "It's okay" Glenn said as he noticed the tears threanting to fall out of my eyes. He wiped the tear that was already falling. "How far along?" He asked me.

"Two months. Hershel said it was some condition where I don't show. My cousin had it one time" I said as I rambled on as I moved hair from my face.

"This is perfect" He said as he kissed the side of my face. I couldn't help but feel relieved. I smiled and leaned into him. "Glenn Jr" He said with a smile.

"I'm not naming my baby that" I said to him as I pushed him a little. He looked at me with a fake hurt expression.

"What?" He asked as he leaned back on the bed like I just had killed his dog.

"Oh, stop!" I said to him as I laid down on him. He traced small circles into my lower back and held me closer. He placed his hand on my stomach.

"That's our baby in there" He said as he moved over to hug me tighter.

...

I was going on a run with a bunch of other people to try and act normal. Well that's what I thought. I haven't told Daryl because I'm afraid how he is going to react. It was weird keeping a secret from him.

I was packing a car with him as I watched Beth and her new boyfriend saying goodbye to eachother. Zach was a sweet kid and was crazy about Beth, Beth not so much.

"Okay, are you gonna say goodbye?" I heard Zach call after Beth.

"Nope!" Beth said with a smile before walking away. I looked at Daryl and cringed a little.

"It's like a damn romance novel"Daryl said as he shoved bags into the bed of the truck. I rolled my eyes at that comment.

"What kind of romance novels do you read?" I asked as I closed the truck of the bed up. "Normally the ones I read , they usually say goodbye to eachother. Sorry Zach" I said as I watched him awkwardly stand there.

"I just don't get it" Zach ranted as he ran his fingers through his hair. "You and Glenn seem to love each other. Whenever the other one goes on runs you guys like kiss and hug" Zach said as he leaned against the car.

"I don't want to hear that" Daryl said as he grunted and walked away. I rolled my eyes at him.

"I think it's because Beth doesn't want to get attached. She has lost a quiet view of people" I said softly as I put my hand on his shoulder. He nodded and kept his eyes to the ground. I patted his back before I went to go find Glenn.

Glenn did argue with me about going, but I'm still going to go because this time I'm not a hopeless pregnant lady. You can barely tell I'm pregnant.

I hoped in one do the cars, Glenn and I were lucky enough it was only us in them. I smiled as Glenn had his hand on my thigh and I had the window down. Daryl came to a stop as Daryl and Michonne were talking.

"Oh my god! Hurry up!" I groaned as I practically leaned out do the car. Michonne laughed as she came into the back seat of our car.

I waved to Rick as we passed him by as he opened up the gate for us, when we were somewhat on the road Michonne started to talk.

"I'm thinking of baby names. If it's a girl Michonne and if it's a boy Michone boy version of Michonne" Michonne said as she leaned back into the car. I giggled at the names.

"Yeah...no" Glenn said as he followed Daryl on his bike. I heard Michonne let out a sigh.

"Honestly, I was thinking if it's a boy we name it Theodore after T-Dog" I said with a smile as I patted my belly. Glenn quickly looked over at me and smiled.

"I think that's perfect" Glenn said as he gave me a quick kiss. I heard Michonne let out a dramatic sigh.

"You guys are gross" Michonne groaned as she leaned farther into her seat.

"Oh shut up! I see the way you're looking at Rick" I said with a smile as I turned around and looked at her. "I need someone to go get me some water" I said as I mimicked Rick. "Oh I'll do it for you!" I said as I made Michonne sound like a Barbie doll. She gave me a weird look.

"Uh no" she said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yes uh" I said to her, "your like so in love with him" I said as I turned back around.

"Whatever. Maybe you should name your baby Thor. That sounds like a good scary name" Michonne said with a smile plastered on her face.

"What? Our baby isn't some scary guard dog" Glenn said as he shook his head at the name.

"Okay you're boring" Michonne said as she laid back into the seat. I giggled as I looked out the window. This is going to be great.
