24| No Merle, No me

Y/n POV

"It won't work" Rick told us, it was about bringing Merle back, it felt bad to hear that. I know all the shit Merle did but he was still my family.

"It's gotta" Daryl said, he didn't like the idea of leaving Merle behind at all.

"It'll stir things up." Rick said, I know he didn't want to let Merle in.

"Look, the governor is probably on the way to the prison right now. Merle knows how he thinks and we could use the muscle." Daryl said, which made a good point.

"I'm not having him at the prison" Maggie said, I felt for her but I know it was just a two sided story.

"Do you really want him sleeping in the same cell block as Carol or Beth?" Glenn asked, I got a little pissed off at that comment.

"He ain't no fucking rapist" I said getting pissed off at Glenn for making that comment.

"Well, his buddy is" Glenn said, Maggie looked at Glenn with fear in her eyes. What the fuck happened?

"They ain't buddies no more. Not after last night" Daryl said, we had Merle sitting up to a tree and Michonne was waiting by the car.

"There's no way Merle's gonna live there without putting everyone at each other's throats." Rick said, I looked at the fucking ground, I didn't want to get angry or pissed off.

"So you're gonna cut Merle loose and bring the last samurai home with us?" Daryl asked not getting the point of bringing on person home and not the other.

"She's not coming back" Rick said which also made me frustrated.

"She's not in a state to be on her own." I said defending my friend.

"She did bring you guys back to us" Glenn said as he looked back at Michonne and then back at Rick.

"And then ditched us" Rick said, she came back I don't know why he was so upset.

"At least let my dad stitch her up" Maggie offered.

"She's too unpredictable." Rick said.

"That's right. We don't know who she is, and the only one that knows her is Y/n. And people can change" Daryl said, I tried staying calm because I didn't want to flip my shit out on these people. "But Merle, Merle's blood."

"No, Merle is your guys blood. MY blood, my family is standing right here and waiting for us back at the prison." Glenn said to Daryl and I.

"And you guys are apart of that family. But he's not. He's not." Rick said, the words stung a lot.

"Man, yall don't know. Fine. We'll find for ourselves." Daryl said, my heart started to beat faster. When Merle was gone Daryl promised to always stay with me, that we wouldn't leave eachother.

"That's not what I was saying." Glenn said thing to stop Daryl from leaving.

"No him, no me." Daryl said standing his ground.

"Daryl you don't have to do this" Maggie said trying to stop him as well.

"It was always Merle, Y/n and I before this." Daryl said as I put my head down,
