55| Dream

Y/n POV

"How many siblings do you have?" JJ asked, we have been walking for a couple of hours and we went back and forth asking random questions. So far I learned JJ's favorite color is red, he loves pandas, he is afraid of horses, he doesn't like bacon and his favorite artist is The Smiths.

"I'm the youngest. Merle, my older brother, he sadly died and then I have Daryl who is still alive, I hope." I said as I mumbled the last bit.

"Your group is strong, he is alive" JJ said with a soft smile. "I had an older sister but she died when she was 3 to cancer" JJ said with a small sad smile.

"Sorry" I mumbled the last part. Usually when people are upset they don't want to hear I'm sorry because that does nothing for them. "How did you and Glenn meet?"

"We were heading to Atlanta to seek our safety and I meant him there with a group of people. He was a pizza delivery boy and I'm pretty sure he delivered pizza to me one time and I filed a complaint because the pizza was cold" I said with a smile as I joked. "Don't tell him I said that" I said with a small smile.

"That's a tough one to keep. Okay ask me one" JJ said with a smile on his face.

"Umm favorite movie?" I asked him as I fixed my hair. I re did in a pony tail and took out some pieces to frame my face.

"Prisoners" JJ said as he thought about his answer. "Ever seen it?"

"Is that the one where the dad like goes crazy to find his daughter?" I asked him as I thought about the movie.

"Bingo" JJ said with a goofy grin. I rolled my eyes at his childless he is.

"Okay, okay. Tell me more about your group" JJ said as he looked over at me with a small smile.

"Umm Rick, he is kinda like our leader, you know? Then there's Maggie and Beth who are siblings, they had their dad but he died, Michonne who is one of my best friends, Bob who is really sweet and caring, Sasha and Tyreece who are siblings, Carol who used to be with us, Judith and Carl who are Rick's kids. I think that's all really" I said with a sigh as I thought about them.

"We will get you to them" JJ said softly. I smiled and nodded to him. It was soon getting Dark and we made it to an abandoned sign with writing on it.

"Sanctuary for all community for all those who arrive survive"

"You think...?" JJ trailed off.

"Oh I know" I said, they would have to go. They would know because they would go there.

...

We were getting up camp. We went inside and found a tiny building for shelter so we could spend the night there safety. We packed more than enough food to be there. I snacked on some nuts as I sat around waiting for morning to come up.

"Hey, I'll take watch" JJ said softly as he sat up from his sleeping bag.

"I'm okay" I mumbled as I shoved a handful in my mouth to stay awake. I couldn't sleep. I was way too nervous to even go to sleep.

"Y/n, it's okay" JJ mumbled as he sat up. I looked at him and he nodded his head. I sighed and gave in.

I sat back on the sleeping back and set my head down. It wand the best but being able to sleep was nice again. I wanted the morning to come closer than ever.

Dream

"Glenn!" I called happily, I ran over to him. He turned around, his hair framing his face, his handsome facial features, his beautiful eyes.

"I thought you died" He said a little shock and taken back, I felt my smile falter a little.

"No, I'm alive. I had our baby" I said with a smile moving closer to him.

"I wish you and that baby died" Glenn spat at me, I took a step back my heart stopping a little. "Why do you think we left you?" He asked with his hands over his chest.

"No we got separated" I said, my voice falling even more quieter than it should have been.

"No. As soon as you went off to find your brother I left the bus out of there hoping I'd never see your face again" Glenn snapped at me. I felt the warm tears fill my eyes. Why was he being so mean?

"What?" I asked quietly as I but my arms over my chest. My heart shattered into million of pieces.

"And your arm? What are you a robot?" He asked as he let out a cruel laugh. One that used to fill my heart with joy but this one was different, this one was horrible.

"Why are you being such a jerk?" I asked him as I couldn't fit back the tears anymore and the slipped down my face one by one.

"Because, Y/n, I never loved you. I stayed with you only to get this far into the group. Your a horrible and disgusting human being and I can't believe I had sex with you" Glenn laughed in disgust,

End of Dream

"Y/n!" I heard someone call, I open my eyes and saw JJ shaking me awake. I wake up gasping for air and tears fell down my face. "You were crying" JJ said softly as he wiped the tears coming down my face.

"I had a dream...that Glenn said he didn't want me anymore" I quietly sobbed out as I clutched my body to my chest.

"Y/n, it was just a bad dream" JJ said as he held out his arms and I fell into them, the human contact was nice. I wiped the tears and listened to him whisper calming things into my ears as I drifted off into sleep again.
