Y/n POV

I woke up to a sound of a camera clicking. I opened my tired eyes to see Glenn smirking holding up a camera. It was one of those polaroid cameras.

"Sorry" He laughed at me. I rolled my eyes and turned over in our bed. "You're still mad at me?" He asked as he placed his hand on my waist turning me over.

"Yes" I said to him as I looked away avoiding his eye contact. He kissed me on the lips and my anger soon fading away. "You're lucky" I mumbled as I sat up and smiled at him.

"I'll bring you breakfast after perimeter check" Glenn mumbled as he leaned in and kissed me again on my lips. I grabbed the picture from his hand and looked at it.

"Oh, my god. Throw that away" I said as I looked at it and then turned away, he grabbed it from my hands and took a closer look.

"Yeah. Not gonna happen. It's mine." He said to me as he got up and grabbed his shoes. I rolled my eyes at how dorky he was being.

I stoped when I heard gunshots coming from the prison. I got up and quickly buy my shoes and put my hair up before grabbing my katanas to see what the fuck was going on.

I found Daryl and I ran with him to see what was going on. I saw a man holding up a gun just firing and I grabbed the gun and threw it to Rick.

"I got it. Are you bit?" I heard Rick ask the man. "Go. Get out of here." Rick said. Rick was leading people out of the prison while I went deeper to see what was happening.

I killed a walker that was trying to attack at kid as Carol, Daryl were getting kids out and bringing them to the cell blocks.

I took another walker out. As everyone around me was crying or hugging their loved ones.

"Are we clear down here?" Rick asked us as he looked around as well.

"Yeah" I shouted out as the screaming stopped.

"We're safe?" Rick asked us.

"Yeah" Sasha said from right next to me. I let out a small breath as I watched Daryl walk up the steps. I followed after them as Glenn was cornered by a walker and Daryl took him out with a crossbow.

I helped Glenn up as he whispered a thanks. When Rick opened up the curtain to the cell block I looked down at a familiar boy.

"Oh, it's Patrick" Daryl said, Patrick was a sweet boy. He was always kind and he was one of Carls friends.

"That's all of em" I said as I took the bottom of my shirt and wiped my face.

We went around checking cells and making sure the people that were safe got out of the cell blocks. I have no idea how this shit started. I walked down the steps as Glenn followed behind me.

I heard people crying as they covered up dead loved ones with Blankets. No one apart of our original group was hurt which seemed okay but a lot of other people were.

We were going to have to bury lots of people. I looked down as I past a women covering up her dead child. I didn't want to think about that and my heart hurt for that poor woman.

"No bites. No wounds. I think he just died" I said as I looked at one of the dead bodies on the floor. It made no sense.

"Horribly, too, pleurisy aspiration." Caleb said, he was another doctor that worked along side Hershel for medical advice.

"Chocked to death on his own blood" Hershel said as he leaned against a wall next to Daryl. "Caused those trails down his face."

"I've seen them before on a Walker outside the fences." Rick said as he kneeled beside me.

"I saw them in Patrick, too" Daryl grunted.

"They're from the internal lung pressure building up, like if you shake a soda can and pop the top. Only imagine your eyes, ears, nose, and throat are the top." Caleb explained as he looked down at the dead boy.

"It's a sickness form the walkers?" Bob asked with his arms crossed over his chest.

"N9c these things happened before they were around. Could be pneumococcal" Caleb said, I chocked back a laugh. There was a commercial on tv that said that disease and I thought the word was so funny. But it was no time to laugh. "Most likely an aggressive flu strain."

"Someone kicked him in just in time." Hershel said as he looked down at the boy.

"No, man. Charlie used to sleepwalk. Locked himself in. Hell, he was just eating barbecue yesterday. How could somebody die in a day just from a cold?" Daryl asked as if it just didn't make any sense.

"I had a sick pig, it died quick. Saw a sick boar in the woods." Rick said as he shook his head.

"Pigs and birds. That being these things spread in the past. We need to do something about those hogs." Hershel said as he looked down at Rick and I.

"Maybe we got luck6x maybe these two cases are it." Caleb said as he stood up and stretched out his legs.

"Haven't seen anybody be lucky in a long time. Bugs like to run through close quarters. Doesn't get any closer than this." Bob said with a slight head nod.

"All of us in here c we've been exposed." Hershel said, and with that Rick held out his hand to help me get up. We would have to quarantine people until all of this washes over and it has to be quick.

Because we have no idea how many others are getting sick either, it's dangerous and it needs to end fast. Before the rest of the prison goes down with it.
