Sunny and Mincy had separated, Mincy had run downstairs to defend, and Sunny... was supposed to summon Omori and convince him to help.

As Omori formed, Sunny prepared to do some manipulation if necessary, "Hey, Omori..."

"What did you need this time?" Omori asked with an eye roll.

He started with an explanation, "Well, we have to defend this briefcase from two of the other kids. The only limit is that we can't kill anyone," Sunny tried to make it sound exciting for Omori. He fell for it completely. "Where are they!? This sounds awesome!" he enthusiastically whipped his head around to search for the opponents.

"Well, we gotta wait for them to say 'go,' but once they do, they'll be downstairs first." Sunny explained. Omori barely let Sunny finish explaining before he bounded down the stairs and out of sight.

Sunny sighed, then began his part of the plan. The most boring part. He picked up the briefcase and got ready to leave the floor with it at any moment.

He looked out the window and watched as the countdown started. "3... 2... 1... GO!"

Peter and Rai walked forward for a moment but then stepped back at Mincy and Omori leapt outside at them.

Mincy quickly tackled Rai as Omori punched Peter in the stomach, tearing him backwards into the building across the street.

Rai screamed with incredible volume, knocking over Omori... but not affecting Mincy. "Nice try, Rai! My quirk makes me immune to others! You just kinda hurt my ears a bit!"

Omori suddenly tried hitting Mincy, making her dodge backwards, "Woah, what? Why are you trying to hit me!?" she asked urgently.

Instead of answering, Omori tried hitting her again, this time successfully punching her face. The hit was nowhere near as strong as the one that hit Peter, though, likely due to her quirk.

"Oww..." Mincy said, rubbing her face.

Peter stood up, slowly getting to his feet. "That's my quirk, Mincy. Captivate. I can control anyone who touches me. Normally, I'd also talk about the caveats of my quirk, but I think it's best if you don't know," Peter looked down at the left side of his costume, seeing the side of his costume on his hip had started to rip a bit, "Looks like I definitely will need a size up..."

Mincy, starry-eyed, watched Rai, who was blushing wildly. "Oh, man, I've got to draw this!" quickly, she hit herself in the face, "Not now, Mincy! Think about yaoi after the fight!"

As she said this, she pulled out what was evidently a grappling hook as she called up to Sunny, "Take Omori back, Sunny! Professor Doom has got this!"

Sunny could barely hear what she said, but as he saw Omori gearing up to hit Mincy again, he quickly recalled Alter Ego.

Mincy then shot her grappling hook and recalled it at an angle, wrapping the two in the wire, then sticking then together as the actual grappling hook flew out of Mincy's hand.

"Damn it! We almost had them, Peter! We should've used the strategy I suggested!" Rai complained, struggling against the wire tying them together.

Peter sighed sadly, "But that wouldn't have worked either, Rai! Who would want to touch me? Flirting with Sunny would've just made him uncomfortable..." he resignedly slouched over.

"Uncomfortable? UNCOMFORTABLE!?" Rai raising his voice echoed around the area and made the windows of the buildings shake, "Peter, no offense, but you have got to be the most oblivious guy I ever met," he said with another sigh.

"Well, I don't know how to flirt, really, Rai... can you teach me?" Peter asked the boy tied up with him. Mincy tugged at her costume's collar desperately, going insane at the fact that she couldn't draw at that exact moment.

Rai looked lightheaded as the intercom went off, "Nice job to the villains... again... jeez, glad you guys are on our side!" Captain Canuck joked over the speakers, "Come on back to the observation deck. Meanwhile, I'm gonna see who's going to be setting up our final round, a 3v3!"

As the announcement went off, Sunny had set off to the ground floor. Once reaching it, he saw Mincy slowly and delicately unwrapping Rai and Peter as the grappling hook reeled itself in.

Soon, Captain Canuck arrived, coincidentally at the same time that Mincy finished untying them. Convenient. "You left the briefcase on the table, right, Sunny?" Captain Canuck asked him. Sunny nodded, and his teacher smiled, "Good man. Alright, let's head back."

Sunny looked back and saw that Jay, Angel, and Aubrey had remained outside, meaning they were the heroes. The four began to walk back to the observation deck. After around a minute, they arrived back at the main building. They walked up the stairs to the observation room, and Sunny immediately encountered Mikhael, who held his arms out with a wide smile, "Fantastic work, comrades! Truly impressive! W-Woah..." Mikhael suddenly began looking at Peter again.

Mincy cleared her throat, "The Maverick, how did Professor Doom do?" she asked, trying to turn his attention off of Peter's torn costume.

"Ah, right! Your effort was truly commendable. If Professor Doom were a real villain, she'd be a truly formidable one!" Mikhael seemed especially pleased that Mincy used his hero name.

"Hoo hoo... indeed, indeed." Mincy evilly tapped her fingers together.

Captain Canuck held his hand up, "Alright, calm down everyone. It's time for the final round to start," he announced to the room before walking over to the intercom.

He immediately noticed Basil was outside of the building, hiding around a corner. "Uh... is everyone in place?" Captain Canuck asked.

Both groups quickly affirmed that they were ready. Captain Canuck shrugged and began to countdown.

"3... 2.. 1..." he dramatically paused, then finished his countdown with a loud, "GOOO!!!" followed by a laugh. "Let's see what they were planning," he said, stepping back from the screens and smiling.
