Days have passed since Avni and Neil shifted to their new home and both of them have become comfortable in their new home.
One night, after dinner, Avni is still in the kitchen making some cupcakes, she stands facing the microwave, but suddenly she flinches on her place when Neil suddenly comes and hugs her from behind and rests his chin between her neck and shoulder, with his hands wrapped around her stomach
Avni also quickly composes herself with this touch and doesn't say anything because this thing has become common between them but still it is special every time.
She smiles at the way he came and hugged her.
" I am feeling sleepy, let's go to sleep." He says seeing her busy in the kitchen at this time
And at his words, Avni turns in his arms due to which she now stands between the kitchen counter and him, Neil also imprisons her by placing his hands on both sides of her on the kitchen counter.
" No, you cannot sleep, tomorrow is Sunday, you have a holiday so you are allowed to sleep till late tomorrow morning and that is why we will not sleep early tonight..." Avni says but her words make his mischievous mind on.
"So what do you intend to do with me tonight by staying awake?" He says leaning towards her to which she leans back, widening her eyes as she understands his one-track mind.
But then she puts her hand on his chest and makes him stand upright and picks up the already made cupcakes kept on the counter in her hand and offers them to him.
" Nothing much, we'll just eat these cupcakes." She says, to which, he makes a face.
" No Avni I told you I won't eat sweets anymore..." he says to which she gets sad
" Kaise namak dil insaan hai aap..." she says making him confused, He had heard of "pathar dil", what is this "namak dil".
" Namak dil ?" He says
" Haan aap ho namak dil insaan, Can't you have some sweets for me?" she asks making a tearful face to which he rolls his eyes...no, he won't melt today
" I would eat poison for you but not sugar." he says to which she glares and understands that today he will not melt with her fake tears.
" Go and sleep....don't spoil my mood..." saying this she turns towards the microwave again when the microwave beeps to let her know that her next set of cupcakes is ready
Avni takes them out carefully and once she is done, Neil hugs her again from behind resting his chin on her shoulder
" By the way why is this cooking going on so late at night, can I know the reason..." Neil asks him
"There was a reason but now it's all going to end up in the dustbin again just like the day I first made cupcakes for you..." She says and Neil suddenly remembers that day and the fight.
She made cupcakes for him but he misunderstood that she made them all for Abhishek.
And saying this, Avni separates him from herself and goes to the other counter of the kitchen where she had kept two coffee cups but now she is putting them back in their right place
Suddenly Neil starts remembering the flashback of that day, no he can't afford to fight with her again, This girl forgives with great difficulty, so instead of angering her, it is better to eat some sugar.
" I will eat all of this please don't get angry..." Avni looks at Neil on hearing his words and Neil comes close to her and holds both her hands in his
" Really I will eat all this, please don't get angry." Seeing his baby face she is hardly able to maintain her fake anger.
