" Mujhe ye shaadi nahi karni, Abhi ( Abhishek ) aur main sirf dost hai, aap sab kuch bhi karne se pehle ek baar mujh se puchh toh lete....." She tells her mother who tells her that their neighbours, the Khanna family, have sent a marriage alliance for her.
" Toh Kisne kaha tumhe ki tumhe Abhishek se shaadi karni hai...wo waise bhi us ghar ka Chota beta hai, us ghar ke bade bete ka rishta tumhare liye aaya hai." She is shocked to hear this, her entire life has been full of taunts because of him, no, she will not marry him.
" kya ? Par main unse shaadi nahi karna chahti." she gives her answer clearly
" Humne tumse nahi puchha tumhe us se shaadi karni hai ya nahi, aisa ladka dhundhne par bhi nahi milta, aur jab aisa rishta khud chalkar humare ghar aaya hai toh tum mnaa karne ka soch bhi nahi sakti...tumhe us se shaadi Karni hogi." The girl's mother tells her in clear words, on which she looks to her brother as her last hope.
" Bhaiya, aap sabko samjhao n mujhe shaadi se problem nahi hai, par mujhe unse shaadi nahi karni." She tells her brother who is happy with her family's decision this time.
" Bachcha, agar tumhe shaadi se problem nahi hai toh us se shaadi karne me kya problem hai....I don't know him personally but I am sure he is perfect for you. There is no one more perfect than him, that's why listen to mom and dad and say yes to marrying him." Hearing this answer even from her last hope, she doesn't see any way out, what should she do now.
" I am leaving, I have some work at the police station." Saying this her brother leaves from there breaking her hopes.
" tu apne arrogant bhai ko samjhaa naa ki wo mujhe mnaa karde....kyon sab mere saath aisa kar rahe hai." She tells her best friend Abhishek.
" Ye bhai ka nahi, mom dad ka decision hai...." he says
" Arre par shaadi to unki ho rahi hai....wo mnaa kar denge to sab jabardasti thode karenge, main to baaki ladkiyon jitni sundar bhi nahi hu....wo kyon mujh se shaadi kar rahe hai." She cries.
" Hey, Don't you dare say that again to my beautiful friend...you don't know how beautiful you are...agar tu meri best friend nahi hoti toh main tujh se shaadi kar leta." He says cupping her face.
" Toh kar le na...par mujhe tere bhai se shaadi nahi karni, I hate him." she says
" Yaar tu aisa bhi mat lo...Haan wo thode strict hai par tujhe wo khush rakhenge." He says this while wiping her unshed tears, to which she does not say anything further but hugs him.
" Please tu kar le mujh se shaadi, baad me divorce de diyo, par unse bachaa le."
she says hugging him.
" Arre par fir divorce ke liye bhi bhai se case ladwaana padega." He says to which she punches him in the back leaving him screaming in pain.
But their moment is broken when both of them hear the sound of someone clearing his throat.
Both of them separate and see in front of them the person about whom both of them were talking and as soon as they sees him, the girl gets angry and there is fear on Abhishek's face.
" Bhaiya." Abhishek says
" Tum yehaan kya kar rahe ho....padhaai nahi karni ? jab dekho waqt barbaad karte rehte ho yun hi kisi ke saath baithkar." she gets irritated at his words
" Bhaiya meri ye dost hai." Abhishek reminds him
" Haan toh, dosti nibhaane ka koi time hota hai....
ye tumhare padhne ka time hai, toh abhi ghar ke andar jao." He says to which Abhishek is unable to say anything but bids goodbye to his friend and goes inside his house from there.
" Tumhe invitation doon, tum bhi jao andar." At his words she glare at him and goes in the opposite direction to where her house is.
