" Happy birthday, Neil." Avni wishes Neil
Well, she did not plan any surprise at 12 in the night and wishes him today when more than half of his birthday has passed.
Around 8 in the evening when Neil comes back from work he sees the whole house decorated and amidst that decoration, there is a table on which the cake is kept.
" Why don't you understand what I am saying, for the last 3 years I have been telling you not to celebrate this day but you don't understand such a simple thing." Even though he is angry, he tries not to take it out on her and he just says this while snatching away the smile from her face which was there for his birthday
" And you know, I will try this every year until you start celebrating your birthday." She says
" And that day will never come...that's why stop all this." He says, and so that he doesn't say anything else that hurts her, he starts to leave from there, but before he can do so, she catches his wrist.
" At least look at your gift..." she says, to which he jerks his hand from her grip.
" I don't want any gift, the day you stop doing all this will be the biggest gift for me." He says this and walks away without hearing another word from her, upon which her eyes fill with tears.
Later, after 1 hour in the room, Neil as usual realizes his mistake and although he still won't celebrate his birthday but he goes out of the room to say sorry to her
Anyway, this has been going on between them for 3 years. They don't fight often but every year on this day, she does such things despite his refusal that he has to talk to her like this even though he doesn't want to.
He comes down and looks around but doesn't find her anywhere. He then goes to a room downstairs where he finds her standing on the balcony.
He smiles and going close to her he hugs her from behind but she does not react because she also knows that this is his habit every time, first scold her and then love her.
But today she will not melt.
" I'm sorry cigarette." Saying this, he kisses her cheeks and even then she doesn't say anything, upon which he takes a breath
" Shall we go out? We will have dinner outside today. I don't feel like eating at home." He says this only to add fuel to her suppressed anger.
She stood for hours and cooked his favourite food, baked a cake, and he has to leave all that and go out for dinner.
But she still stands quietly, suppressing her anger
And seeing her like this, he sighs
" Avni I am saying sorry, I am talking about something... why are you not answering..." he says to which she closes her eyes
" Look, anger is not good for the baby, so don't make me angry at this time." She says as she gets out of his arms and looks at him, to which he smiles.
" Aww my baby, Come close to me, I will calm my baby's anger with my love." he says, taking a step towards her but before he can reach her, Avni passes him and goes back into the room and sits on the bed, whereupon, he looks at her.
" Bachha...meri baat suno.... He speaks in an attempt to coax her, to which, she just glares at him
" Chup ho jaaiye warna main aapka sar phod dungi." She speaks, on which he gulps, the mood in which she seems to be, she can break his head. He thinks
But while thinking this, his eyes fall on a file kept next to her on the bed and he can clearly see that there is a hospital sign on it.
" What is this?" saying this he is about to pick up the file from beside her but before he can do so, Avni takes the file in her hand
