" He is not your son, right?" Avni asks Prakash, hearing which Prakash's eyes widen.

Prakash and Shwetha studied in the same college and they fell in love during their college days but when this matter came to the notice of their conservative families so both the families refused to accept their relationship and asked them to separate.
Prakash belonged to an upper class family whereas Shweta belonged to a middle class family and this was also a reason for rejecting their relationship.
