The morning after his meeting with friends, Alaric paced his room, thoughts of the previous night’s revelations and discussions swirling in his mind. His friends' teasing about the kiss with Cederic and the kiss with Prince Lucian had left him even more confused about his feelings.

Just as he was about to head out for a walk to clear his head, a letter arrived, bearing the seal of Duke Cederic. Alaric’s heart raced as he opened it, his hands trembling slightly. The letter was a formal invitation for a private meeting at the Duke’s mansion that afternoon. Determined to find clarity, he got ready and made his way to the Duke’s mansion.

Upon arriving at the grand estate, Alaric was greeted by one of the Duke’s attendants and led through the ornate halls to a private study. The air was thick with anticipation as he was shown inside. Cederic stood by the window, his back to the room, but turned as Alaric entered, his expression softening into a smile.

"Thank you for coming, Alaric," Cederic said, his voice steady yet soft.

Alaric nodded, his own voice barely above a whisper, "Of course, Duke Cederic."

Cederic gestured to a small table set with tea and cake. They sat down, and after a moment of silence, Cederic spoke. "I... I am sorry, Alaric, for that night. You might have felt uncomfortable with what happened. That day, there was something..."

Alaric interrupted gently, "It's okay, Duke. You... You don't have to say sorry. And I know maybe you find that kiss... finding me not worth your time," his voice trailed off.

Cederic’s eyes widened, and he quickly denied it. "No, kissing you is something I don’t regret. I might do it again if given the chance."

Hearing this, Alaric blushed, his heart suddenly pounding rapidly. He looked at Cederic in shock.

"Ahem," Cederic cleared his throat, clearly flustered. "I mean, I... I like you, Alaric. I mean, you are worthy more than anyone....."

A blush rose on Cederic’s ears, and the air grew thick with emotions. Cederic, who was sitting close to Alaric, moved even closer, his eyes softening. "May..I?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper.

Alaric nodded slightly, Cederic leaned closer closeing the gap between them. Their lips met gently at first, exploring the unfamiliar sensation.

Cederic's hand cupped Alaric's cheek, his thumb brushing lightly against his skin. The kiss deepened, a mix of urgency and tenderness.

Alaric's hands found their way to Cederic's shoulders, gripping tightly as a wave of warmth spread through him. Their breaths mingled, the world outside disappearing as they lost themselves in the moment.

The kiss was a dance of unspoken emotions, a promise of something more, leaving them both breathless when they finally parted, eyes locked and hearts racing.

"I ..I like you, Alaric," Cederic said softly. "You know, like more than a friend."

Before Alaric could respond, Cederic put a finger on his lips, hushing him. "First, think about it and then give me an answer. I will honor all your decisions and your feelings, okay?"

Alaric nodded, his eyes misty. Duke Cederic chuckled softly and picked up a piece of cake, feeding it to Alaric making him blush even more. (Cederic control himself like a good baby😘 Controlll take things slow slow )

When Alaric returned home, his thoughts were filled with the kiss and Cederic's confession. He realized he also liked Cederic more than just a friend, not just as a game character he had admired.

He liked the current Duke, his caring ways. But he knew he needed time to sort through his feelings for Cederic, Lucian, and..... the complexities of his new reality.
(Ahhh poor Gabi only he left 😚😚)
