Chapter Thirty-Three
"Who Is There With You."
--------------
Rain poured into the streets of Coruscant once again. An umbrella covered two people as they stared at two tombs in front of them, "How did it happen?" Asked the younger one, a male, a jedi padawan.
"Comando droids...shot Trickshot first and cut Razorsharp's stomach." A clone captain explained to the younger one, staring at the tombs of his fallen brothers. The Padawan turned his head towards the captain, a look of guilt on his face, "I'm sorry, if i had been there-" However, the Jedi was shortly cut by the captain. "If you had been there what? It already happened, no point in wondering what couldn't have happened." The captain told the Jedi before turning on his heel and walking away from the Jedi, leaving him alone in the cold rain of Coruscant.
The words of the captain stung on the Jedi's mind, they didn't left his mind. They stayed, repeating themselves like a mantra, "No point in wondering what couldn't have happened." It's something that the younger Jedi has heard before, but now, in war time. He can't bring himself to hearing those words anymore, just the simple thought of thinking what could have changed if he had been there, or what he could have done to stop the deaths of multiple troopers and Jedi's.
He turns around as well, taking a deep breath. No point in bringing himself down, he knows that one day, his name will be engraved in a tombstone as well, the only thing he can do is look up to the future. But, easier said than done.

2nd Person Pov.
You sat on the chair of your chambers on the Jedi temple, lost in thought as your hands are clasped together while you think. Think. Think. But about what? About what you could have done to save the now dead troopers? Nothing good comes from thinking what the present could have been if you did something different on the past.
With a sigh escaping your lips, you lean back in the chair, your eyes dart around the room, a lot of crazy things have happened in the last month. Your master faked his death and didn't tell you, the council knew and didn't tell you either, you haven't talked even with Ahsoka for half a month and the world seems so difficult right now.
And yet, as a Jedi you're supposed to not let that wear you down, but everything is easier when a professional tells you, when your master tells you that it's more easy to think of it. But it's not easy.
Nothing really is nowadays.
Boredom plastered on your face, you grab a holo-pad and begin to scroll trough it, examining the information of the found body of your deceased father, poison is what the forensics say, but that drives you to question yourself. Who was with him so that he could be poisoned? With a new question in mind, you began to read deeper and further, trying to read something in between the lines to see if you find anything.
The expenses and things found on drawers, pantry's, fridges, and other stuff seemed to be more than for one person. Enough resources for more than one people than to live. The dots slowly begin to connect in your head. Someone had been living with your father, but who? Your investigation comes to a pause as your stomach rumbles, remembering you should eat. Even if the food of the Jedi Temple tastes terrible, you gotta swallow it up even if it tastes terrible. No pun intended.
Walking trough the hallways of the temple towards the cafeteria, you find yourself hearing whispers and murmurs about something that y/n had clearly missed, something about someone returning, a Sith lord. You picked some remnants of what they were talking, something about your master going to take care of something, and a old enemy of his coming back to life.
