Chapter Forty-One.

"A Test Of Force And Strength."

----------

Deep Breath.

Deep Breath's, y/n.

Your kyber crystal hovered in the air as you made your first lightsaber, a curved tilt, with a handle with a few touches of an nice aurodium, and finally. Your crystal entering the lightsaber, finishing it, the younger y/n looked at the lightsaber, moving it with grace, gently. Footsteps then followed, the lightsaber architect. Huyang had approached the younger y/n and hummed, bringing it's metallic fingers to it's chin. "I see you have finished your lightsaber young one." The droid mused.

"Why don't you ignite it?" It spoke, making y/n look at it, and then press the ignition button.

Pssssheewww

An blue color enveloped y/n and the table he was working at, making some younglings also look at his direction, Ahsoka and Barriss included. "Hmm...An curved approach, an blue crystal. Aurodium details.." The droid inspected y/n's lightsaber intensely. "Quite reminiscent of someone if i might say so myself." The droid commented as y/n de-ignited it and the droid went to check on the progress of other Younglings. Plo Koon just watched from afar, observing the (h/c) Youngling's finished work. Too reminiscing of someone.

2nd Person

You were already used to this, to train in the middle of travelling. It was just a thing you did every time now. You needed to stay sharp.

Makashi was about elegance, about predicting your enemy's movements and defend yourself with grace and counter-attack with the same elegance and grace that defined Makashi. It was a hybrid form, if you mastered it. It wasn't about extreme offense nor extreme defense, it was about being in the middle. Switching between most offense and most defense. A conventional stance for each situation. That's what drew you into Makashi. Soresu is the form of defense, based on your defense and counter-attacking, patience. Mostly. Shien and Djem So were more aggressive forms, meant to be used in a mostly offensive situation. It encourages you to attack first.

Makashi was a mix of both, defense and offense. Perfect for close-range combats, it was, after all. The best form for dueling. And while it required lots of time and practice. What bore fruit later was nothing short of incredible. Luminara Unduli, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Dooku-

All were Form II practitioners, all great duelists. Some stuck to it, some changed forms, you followed the same path. The training droids turned off after an few minutes of training, by someone. By the Togruta you had the pleasure to call "your lover"

"You know." Ahsoka leaned in the door frame of the room you were training on. "We're supposed to be teaching Younglings." She comments as you de-ignite your lightsaber and place it on your hip. "Hmh, i guess i got bored." You answer. "Plus, gotta stay sharp, you never know what could happen." You tell her as you save the training droids on their respective table. "Training to become a Knight eh? Well, guess that'll have to wait so we can train the next generation." Ahsoka told you, taking a few steps closer, closing the distance between you and her, her face lifted to meet yours, it was a risky move, but just a quick kiss-

Beeeeep!

That was your signal to break away. Your astromech just ran into the room and practically crashed against the wall, you turned towards it. "R5.." your voice was one of tiredness, another day, you guess. The droid lets out a few beeps. "What do you mean what we're doing?" You ask your droid as you leave the room with Ahsoka. "Training, of course." You answer the droid before it beeps again. "What do you mean by that?" You ask the droid as Ahsoka observes you have an somewhat heated conversation with your droid. "I'm gonna check on the younglings." She tells you as you nod your head and let out a "sure." as you keep the chatter with your droid.
