Chapter 43. "The Renewed Horn Company. Jedi Knight L/n!"

A day before y/n's knighting.

The chatter of the Jedi filled the council room, discussions, complaints and agreements. But eventually, they started to talk on the matter at hand. More generals. 

Truth be told, once a time they would talk about who was worthy of being knighted. But as the war started, and now continued to rage even more. They needed more generals. They were blinded by the war and that they had to win it in the name of the Republic they stood for. Even tho the trials of a Knight hadn't been achieved by most Padawans. All their trials could be considered completed once they began participating in the war alone.

"Padawan Tano would be suitable to become a knight." Plo Koon suggested as he leaned back into his seat on the council. "She has passed most of the trials, even if not the ones we imply." Obi Wan then spoke. Luminara's hologram simply watched, they were mostly right. But with that reasoning, Barriss should also be a knight. But if she rushed it, perhaps Barriss might not be ready for that task. "What about Padawan l/n?" Ki Adi Mundi asked, a few masters glanced at each other, silent murmurs across the room. 

"I think my apprentice is ready, he has proven to be quite ready ever since the war started." Obi Wan commented in favor of having y/n turned into a Knight. "I concur." Plo backed Obi Wan on his suggestion. "Hm, think this, we shall. Commit mistakes, we cannot." Yoda said, referring to both Ahsoka and y/n being Knighted, perhaps both of them weren't ready, they could be easily driven by their emotions. "I do, however, think that they should be Knighted." Shaak Ti's hologram spoke. "While they might not have the greatest tactical minds, i believe that their acts are fueled by their hearts, and i think that's how a Jedi acts." Shaak Ti finished her reasoning.

"You have a good point, but i don't think Padawan l/n will be capable of fighting immediately after he is knighted, considering the wounds he sustained from the rebellion of Onderon." Aayla Secura spoke now as Mace only scratched his chin. "The council shall consider this decision." Mace only said as the rest of the council nodded. Signaling the end of this meeting.

When Luminara's hologram of the council vanished, she got up from her seat on the Rhen var facility, she and her apprentice, Barriss. Had been tasked with searching and investigating the place. And for what they found, this place was clearly ran by someone with potential.

She walked out of the room she had been on. Barriss had been infatuated with flowers she found on a small green house on one of the lower levels, it didn't look like a total green house as it was underground and there was no natural light. But the plants there seemed to grow just fine.

"Anything new, Barriss?" Luminara asked her apprentice, who had left the said green hoise with an pot of an flower at hand. "I think so. These flowers have some interesting properties...They almost made me drowsy." She said as she placed the pot on a nearby table. "They seem to bloom on very low temperatures, that's why the round we found them was so cold." She said. The flower was blue, but when it bloomed, it turned an even more pale blue color. It also seemed to drop more dew when it was exposed to the cold.

"I find them most interesting, i did some research, and..these aren't in the archives. Could it be they were never registered?" Barriss asked her Master, who hummed in contemplation. "Not many things are recorded for the archives. Rhen Var is not a very visited planet after all." Luminara answered as a drop of drew fell off one of the petal's of the flower. Softly landing on the dirt of the pot.

"Anything else worth of mentioning, Barriss?" Luminara asked as Barriss hummed. "Well, i sent some clones to find anything of importance, but nothing yet." And as if in cue, one of the clone troopers under Unduli's command arrived. "General, we found something that you might wanna see." He said and Luminara looked at Barriss with a small smile. "Looks like the galaxy heard you." She told her apprentice who returned the smile with a nod and followed her and the clone trooper trough the white hallways. Until they reached an diagonal turn to the left, and as they continued walking. They came across one more door that was sealed, but fortunately, the clones had already been working on it.
